Gaza- Update 10:35 PDT: At least twelve Gazan’s killed and over 1,000 have been wounded by Israeli fire today. Israel is holding Hamas responsible and has bombed Hamas sites this evening. Today was a rehearsal for huge demonstrations in Gaza and across the West Bank on May 14-15. Those demonstrations are expected to be accompanied by terror attacks on Israel and could bring regional war.
Gaza- Clashes begin between demonstrators and Israeli forces on the Gaza border. New York Times special report with pictures. Five Gazan’s killed 370 wounded as Israel fires on the crowds. Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh launched the protests with a speech before the initial 17,000 demonstrators saying that the demonstrations Friday along Israel’s border with the Gaza Strip mark the beginning of the Palestinians’ return to “all of Palestine.” This is only the beginning of escalating demonstrations planned to climax on May 14-15 and has every appearance of the beginning of the Iranian plan against Israel.

Israel was not among the 24 Western governments that expelled more than 100 Russian diplomats Monday over unsubstantiated claims that Russia was behind the poisoning of a former Russian spy in the UK. Despite the false British claims that only Russia has the agent Israel notes that at least 20 other governments are manufacturing and stockpiling the chemical agent; including Britain herself. This is a Western Establishment invented crisis to further the New World Order plan to motivate European nations to set up a Federal Europe as a balance between East and West.
26 Mar: Korea- The North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un was greeted by Chinese President Xi Jinping when he arrived for a visit in Beijing. The leaders are expected to discuss the developing deal with the US and South Korea.
Meanwhile the US and South Korea have negotiated a new trade deal including a permanent exemption for the new US tariffs on steel imports. The new deal will now allow cooperation against the DPRK without a trade conflict in the background.
USA- Russia in shock after US expels sixty diplomats citing chemical incident in the UK. Ukraine expels thirteen, Poland, Germany and France expel four each, the Czechs three. The move comes only after the US grants a temporary suspension to trade tariffs on the EU nations.
The Russian ambassador to the US responded: “Washington has destroyed what little is left of relations with Russia.” The Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Monday that the country will respond soon to United States and European decisions to expel Russian diplomats from their territory.
This is all part of the coming New World Order war and power play, to panic Europeans via a crisis with Russia to set up a New Federal Europe. See our HOME page statement.
Europe- Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu issued what amounts to a declaration of war against Iran as he hosted French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian in his Jerusalem office on Monday. In remarks for the media Netanyahu expressed his condolences for last Friday’s attack in southern France and tried to implicate Iran adding, “The foremost terrorist-sponsoring regime in the world, in our region and beyond is Iran. We have to roll back its aggression, and it is vast, and we must ensure that Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons. I think this is the preeminent issue facing the international community in the coming months, in the coming years.
Minister Le Drian said, “We fight the same fights against terrorism, anti-Semitism and – of course – for the security of the entire region.”
Israel- Israel gears up for new uprising beginning this Friday. Protest tent city will remain until demonstrations climax on May 15.
The Hamas exercise yesterday exposed a major vulnerability in Israel’s Iron Dome rocket defense system. It can be triggered by simple small arms fire inside Gaza causing hundred thousand dollar defense missiles to be fired at thin air. Israel’s Iron Dome rocket defense system fired numerous defense missiles against nothing giving Hamas an unexpected advantage in its upcoming showdown with the IDF. The multiple explosions caused by active Iron Dome interceptions of thin air sent more than a million civilians living in Sderot and Ashkelon scrambling for shelters.
USA- Mass demonstrations for gun control took place across the country on Saturday. One wonders just who is paying for the busing and organizing of these school age youth?
Syria- The Syrian operation in Ghouta forestalled an attack on Syria by the United States. Syria has captured 40 tons of chemical weapons from the Western backed Islamic rebels in Ghouta who had planned a chemical attack to be blamed on Damascus and bring an American attack on Syria.
”Russia’s Chief of General Staff, Gen. Valery Gerasimov, had warned the US that Russia has “reliable information about militants preparing to falsify a government chemical attack against civilians,” and warned that Russia would “respond to a US strike on Syria, if the lives of Russian servicemen were threatened, targeting any missiles and launchers involved.” In his response to the plan and the massing of “a fleet of US Coalition strike carriers to the Mediterranean and Red Sea carrying cruise missiles.” He added details: “This force is comprised of 7,500 army personnel, an aircraft carrier, at least one cruiser, destroyers and 65 to 70 aircraft.” armada “is ready to launch roughly 400 long-range Tomahawks against a target in the Middle East on any given day.
The Syrian army struck to forestall the rebel operation and the Islamic militants have now left one besieged enclave on Friday and agreed to abandon another, leaving only the city of Douma still in insurgent hands in eastern Ghouta after a month-long army assault to drive them from the stronghold near Damascus.
US forces remain in position to attack Iran or Syria.
To meet the US war threat articulated by Moscow, the Russian air force had also deployed Rychag-AV active jamming stations. This electronic package is capable of detecting and suppressing the electronic command-and-control systems and radars of surface-to-air and air-to-air missiles carried by aircraft, drones, land vehicles and surface ships within a 240 mi radius. The Rychag-AV station can suppress multiple targets simultaneously.
Gaza- Israeli planes carried out airstrikes in the southern Gaza Strip on Saturday night, the army said, hours after four Gazans entered Israeli territory from the enclave and attempted to destroy unsecured equipment.
Hamas on Saturday announced it would hold a military exercise in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, as Israel boosts its forces along the border ahead of a planned mass march on Friday 30 March. Hamas begins preparations for Friday’s protests.
24 Mar: A Blessed Sabbath for All God’s Faithful!

22 Mar: Turkey- Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has become an avid supporter of the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Turkey recently established a large military base in the oil emirate and is prophesied to dominate the Arab States once again (Psalm 83)
US equipment and aircraft are being withdrawn from Incirlik Turkey and are being shifted to bases in East Europe. The Pentagon is also looking at Andravida in southern Greece as a replacement for Incirlik.
Coming War- In preparation for war with Iran considerable American military assets are being transferred from the CENTCON base at Al-Udaid in Qatar to secure the Prince Sultan Air base in central Saudi Arabia near Al Kharj, which lies 46 Mi. south of Riyadh. American soldiers are now in place to defend the Saudi kingdom and strike Iran.
Israel sentenced a 17-year-old Palestinian girl, Ahed Tamimi, to eight months in prison for slapping an Israeli soldier and other charges [the mother also received 8 months].

The new group will be formally launched in Washington this week. President Trump is widely believed to have decided to withdraw from the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran before mid May. The new committee is designed to coordinate military and civil assets against Iran and prepare for war in the region.
19 Mar: A Prosperous New Year for All God’s Faithful! Last evening after sunset the first light of the new moon was observed at Jerusalem making this the first day of the first month of the Biblical New Year! April 1 will be Passover Day and April 2 to 8 will be the Feast of Unleavened Bread followed by Pentecost on May 17th. See our special article here.
Israel- One Israeli was stabbed to death in Jerusalem by a Palestinian from Nablus yesterday, his attacker was shot dead.
Korea Breakthrough- According to media reports, a deal has been reached which will see North Korea release all three detained Americans they are presently holding. The deal was negotiated during North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho’s visit to Stockholm, and Swedish officials were heavily involved.
Coming Multi Front Israeli War- At the Rabbinic Passover and before Easter – when hundreds of thousands of Israelis and visitors converge on Jerusalem – Palestinians from Israel and the Occupied Territories will mark “Land Day” on March 30 with mass marches and demonstrations they are calling “The Great March for Return.”
This year, Jerusalem Day, May 13th will be a special celebration since President Donald Trump recognized the city as Israel’s capital, and massive demonstrations are planned by Palestinians for Gaza, the Occupied Territories and Jerusalem. Then, on May 14, Israel celebrates its 70th anniversary of independent statehood – and on May 15th the annual Nakba Day is planned to be observed by Gazan’s and Palestinians with massive demonstrations.
Palestinian organizations have come together to set up a “National Committee” which has hired professional PR teams to promote wide coverage international coverage. They are looking forward to the Great March on Land Day, Jerusalem Day and Nakba Day events to spark similar events in Syria, Jordan and Lebanon and among Israeli Palestinians too.
The widespread demonstrations are expected to spark violence in Jerusalem, across the West Bank and with Gaza.
Israel’s security authorities believe that these protest demonstrations may be accompanied by a major surge of terrorist operations and are mobilizing to deal with the uprising and then to invade Gaza and an escalation in the north with Hezbollah, Shia militias in Syria/Iraq and Iran. See also Iran’s Master Plan. The US in preparing to renege on the Iran Nuclear deal and with Arab States is also preparing for war on Iran and Shia Militias in Iraq/Syria.
A Palestinian upheaval beginning on 30 March, and escalating incrementally from there through April into May appears to be setting the stage for a much wider regional war.
At some point this could lead to an Israeli take out of the Hamas Military Wing and militants in Gaza and escalate to include Hezbollah, Iran and the Iranian backed Shia militias in Syria / Iraq.
Meanwhile the Israeli coalition could call elections after they return from the Passover break in late April, or will the war come first and an election call come after the conflict?
18 Mar: Syria- The Kurdish population of 200,000 flees as Turkish backed forces enter Afrin a Syrian city of 1 million.
With the Syrian army and its allies on the point of a capturing East Ghouta, east of Damascus, the western backed Islamic rebel group which terrorized the population is now seeking a safe evacuation from the area.
Korea- North Korean officials hold talks with American and South Korean representatives in Helsinki Finland in preparation for high level official talks.
UK- Russia expels 23 British diplomats and closes UK St Petersburg Consulate over British accusations that Putin personally ordered attack inside Britain. Britain has still offered absolutely no evidence to back its claims. Britain will finally allow technical experts from The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons to visit Britain on Monday. The correct protocol is to ask them to investigate first and only act after a proper investigation by that body. Britain has broken all norms of international behavior.
USA- The US and Russia impose further sanctions on each other.
Trump calls for end of Russia election investigation after managing the firing of McCabe.
Israel- Israel bombed Gaza last night destroying two observation posts and two tunnels. Tensions are rising in the count down to May 14.
The view of the moderate Israeli media: “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the security cabinet last week that he believes U.S. President Donald Trump intends to abandon the Iran nuclear deal in May. His tone, presumably, was approving. Whether his prediction is borne out or not, it should be noted, for posterity, that Netanyahu thought it was a good idea to push Trump to spark an acute Middle East crisis with Iran, and to concurrently risk inflaming the occupied territories with the transfer of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, at a time when the capricious and temperamental American president is embroiled in confrontations with North Korea, Syria and Russia and at a juncture that his presidency seems headed for unprecedented constitutional and political upheaval.”
17 Mar: A Blessed Sabbath for All God’s Faithful!
Israel shells four Gaza outposts after explosions on border fence.
Trump peace plan delayed until after the coming war [which will destroy the Hamas Military Wing] and subsequent governmental changes in the region.
Trump continues to reveal himself as a vicious bully, ordering Attorney General Jeff Sessions to fire Andrew McCabe as deputy FBI director Friday night two days before his pension eligibility begins. Trump applauds “Andrew McCabe FIRED, a great day for the hard working men and women of the FBI — A great day for Democracy.”
16 Mar: Israel- Car attack kills two injures two, as riots hit West Bank.
UK- It is now coming out that both the US and UK have large stockpiles of the chemical weapon alleged to have been used recently in Britain. Britain’s Labour party leader is questioning the British accusations against Russia which have been made without presenting any proof whatsoever. This situation appears to have been contrived to create friction with Russia ahead of the New World Order Mideast war. The ultimate goal is the rise of a new Federal Europe as a balance between East and West.
USA- On Thursday, amid other dismissals at the White House, The Washington Post reported that President Donald Trump has decided to remove McMaster from his position and is in the process of finding a replacement. Reports indicate that an effort is under way to promote McMaster and give him a Pentagon job.
Korea- Despite reconditions from Trump North Korea is in summit preparation talks in Sweden (Naphtali; Sweden and Norway; are to be known for diplomatic wisdom Gen 49:21). North Korea wants a full peace deal, security guarantees and normalization of relations in exchange for the end of its nuclear and missile programs. On the table from Trump are the desires of the DPRK and a possible US withdrawal from South Korea. It now appears that a deal is reachable and if not the DPRK is under existential threat. If the US crushes Iran first [Mideast war is expected this spring or summer], North Korea would be standing alone and would probably have to agree to anything Trump says.
The US is now ready to attack the DPRK if need be and is also ready for a war on Iran.
15 Mar: USA- Trump to leave Iran deal in May now that he has ousted Tillerson.
Trump lies falsely claiming a trade deficit with Canada, when the US actually has a trade surplus over Canada.
Explosions were detonated at the northern Gaza border fence Thursday as an IDF patrol went by. There were no injuries. Israel retaliated with tank fire and airstrikes on Hamas. Two deaths were reported in an Israel Air Force attack on two observation posts in the Shuja’iyya area of Gaza City.
Russia-UK- The UK made accusations at the UNSC without offering any evidence. Russia calmly demanded some proof. The UK and US are appearing more and more unreasonable and war like to the non Anglo world. Britain is threatening a freeze on Russian owned assets which is driving Russian oligarchs to move billions out of Britain when the UK needs it most as Brexit talks languish.
The British claims that only Russia could have carried out the attack are simply not true:
The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) has not recognized Novichoks as chemical weapons because it found scant evidence that they exist at all. The U.S. and the UK are both part of the organization and both agreed with this evaluation:
The OPCW’s Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) appeared to doubt the existence of “Novichoks”, and did not advise that the compounds described by Mirzayanov, or their precursors, should be designated as Scheduled Chemicals that should be controlled under the Chemical Weapons Convention:[The SAB] emphasised that the definition of toxic chemicals in the Convention would cover all potential candidate chemicals that might be utilised as chemical weapons. Regarding new toxic chemicals not listed in the Annex on Chemicals but which may nevertheless pose a risk to the Convention, the SAB makes reference to “Novichoks”. The name “Novichok” is used in a publication of a former Soviet scientist who reported investigating a new class of nerve agents suitable for use as binary chemical weapons. The SAB states that it has insufficient information to comment on the existence or properties of “Novichoks”. (OPCW, 2013)
Mirzayanov, speaking at his home in Princeton, New Jersey, said he is convinced Russia carried itout as a way of intimidating opponents of President Vladimir Putin.”Only the Russians” developed this class of nerve agents, said the chemist. “They kept it and are still keeping it in secrecy.”
The only other possibility, he said, would be that someone used the formulas in his book to make such a weapon.
“Russia did it”, says Mirzanjaov, “OR SOMEONE WHO READ MY BOOK“.
Since the formulas are publicly available, if they work than anyone could have carried out the attack.
14 Mar: Russia-UK- Russia responds to UK ultimatum by asking to see the evidence. UK did not like that and declared that Russia had not responded, expelling 23 Russian diplomats. The UK has also called a meeting of the UNSC.
It should be pointed out that Britain is not following the established and agreed upon protocols by requesting an investigation by the international chemical weapons body and that Putin is facing an election in five days time and has been calling for improved relations with the West for many months and was hopeful of a relaxing of anti Russia sanctions.
It seems highly unlikely that Russia is responsible. Most nations including Britain have the ability to produce the chemical used, and in the murky world of Spy vs Spy it is quite possible that the attack was carried out by almost anyone desiring to exacerbate the situation between East and West.
13 Mar: Israel-
Yisrael Beytenu allowed the bill to pass first reading to get the 2019 budget passed, but warned “We won’t let our hands be tied when it comes to security matters. We’ll leave the coalition if the bill is passed in the second and third readings [in the summer session beginning in late April after the Passover recess].”
As part of the agreement with Yisrael Beytenu, Defense Minister Liberman will propose a second draft law during the Knesset’s summer session, based upon the recommendations of ministry officials.
The bill will be brought before the Ministerial Committee for Legislation and, if approved, will be merged with the haredi-backed bill proposed by Yoav Ben Tzur that is currently under consideration.
The draft bill breakthrough delays dissolution of the government until after the Knesset summer session begins in late April after the Passover break, putting off possible elections for weeks.
Israel will probably call early elections in May, while Hamas and the Palestinians are calling for massive demonstrations against the opening of the US embassy in south Jerusalem on May 14 and Nakba Day May 15th. See also: Iran’s plan.
According to the present agreement, the coalition will prevent the passage of the opposition’s Knesset dispersal bills, a controversial haredi (ultra-Orthodox) conscription bill will pass in its first reading, and the 2019 state budget will pass into law in its final readings Tuesday night.
The PM has backed down and will allow Yisrael Beytenu member Minister Sofa Landver to vote against the draft bill, the parties in the coalition having agreed to permit a one-time violation of coalition discipline.
The revised conscription bill would be amended and presented for second and third reading when the Knesset returns from its upcoming recess, with the defense ministry being given the option of drafting another conscription bill.
The agreement, approved by Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon, Education Minister Naftali Bennett and Interior Minister Aryeh Deri, further stipulates that the state’s 2019 budget will pass in its three readings today, and the nationality bill will go to a first reading vote no later than Thursday.
Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman (Yisrael Beytenu), Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman and MK Moshe Gafni (UTJ), however, have not yet approved the deal.
Update: Undersecretary of State Steve Goldstein was summarily fired on Tuesday after his comments on the firing of Secretary of State Rex Tillerson appeared to contradict the White House version of events.
Trump fires Tillerson In a long expected move Trump has finally acted to get rid of Secretary of State Tillerson who has championed diplomacy and has been fiercely opposed to the planned Trump wars. Tillerson will be replaced with current CIA Director Mike Pompeo. Pompeo will reportedly be replaced in the CIA by CIA Deputy Director Gina Hapsel. The move puts key cabinet members in place behind the Trump war agenda. Tillerson was the architect of the North Korean nuclear test freeze.
Russia- Theresa May had accused Russia of being behind an attack on a double agent in Britain on mere suspicion and conjecture and given Moscow until midnight to reply to her charge, otherwise “We will conclude that this action amounts to an unlawful use of force by the Russian state against the UK, and we will retaliate extensively.” The US immediately jumped on that wagon creating a crisis between Russia and the Anglo nations.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov repeated Tuesday that Russia has no connection to the attack on the former spy Sergey Skripal and his daughter. He demanded access to the samples of the nerve agent which UK Prime Minister Theresa May had alleged was used in the attack. Lavrov accused the UK government of denying the Russians access to the materials that were related to the case.
Gaza-Israel- A big explosion greeted Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah as his convoy drove into the Gaza Strip Tuesday from Ramallah, accompanied by the Palestinian Authority’s Intelligence chief, Majd Farraj. Both escaped, but seven of their bodyguards were injured.
Abbas blames the Hamas Military Wing (further escalating tensions between the rival factions) while Hamas blames Israel and is threatening retaliation. PA PM Rami Hamdallah was traveling with the Palestinian intelligence chief on a rare visit to Gaza to dedicate a long-awaited sewage plant, he was unhurt. Several suspects arrested and a manhunt for perpetrators is underway. (Haaretz, Ynet, Israel Hayom, Maariv)
Israeli forces and US marines drill close combat situations in southern Israel.
12 Mar: Middle East- US war preparations continue as American forces deploy to exercise with Saudi forces near the border with Jordan. The troops will remain in place after the exercise, at the ready to fight Iranian backed Shia militias in the Syria, Iraqi, Jordanian region.
Jaysh al-Islam and the US-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) are massing troops on the Jordanian border near the southern Syrian town of Daraa. They are gearing up for an offensive against the Syrian government and pro-Iranian Shiite militias during the looming regional war.
Israel- Netanyahu will give a speech on the coalition crisis to the Knesset this afternoon. Sources close to Netanyahu said Monday that if Yisrael Beytenu MK Sofa Landver votes against a controversial conscription bill, he will fire her, and Lieberman said that if Netanyahu fires Landver, his party would leave Netanyahu’s coalition, which could lead to the prime minister initiating an election.
Replace Netanyahu or Hold Elections (Haaretz Editorial) The coalition cannot continue to exist under the cloud of suspicion that hangs over Netanyahu.
An agreement to approve the Orthodox draft bill in first reading and then approve the budget this week, has been approved in committee; however Lieberman’s Yisrael Beitenu has appealed and cabinet approval is now needed. A cabinet vote by phone is underway and once that hurdle is passed, the next step is first reading in the Knesset on Wednesday.
Lieberman’s Yisrael Beytenu party has insisted they will vote against passage of the bill on the first reading in the Knesset and Kahlon’s Kulanu party has refused to support the law if Yisrael Beytenu doesn’t vote for it. If the two parties vote against passage in defiance of coalition discipline the government will fall.
Syria- Syrians in Damascus suburb rejoice over liberation from foreign backed Islamic Militants. Syria has so far liberated over 60% of the area of Ghouta being occupied by Islamist’s.
11 Mar: Israel- Last minute approval of deal by Orthodox delays any election decision for a few days and could even resolve the crisis.
Netanyahu to meet coalition party heads today with election call probable soon. Naftali Bennett Jewish Home head blasts Bibi as parties prepare for elections. Another coalition partner, Yair Lapid head of Yesh Atid has already rejected Netanyahu’s demands making an election call all but certain.
As coalition talks collapse Zionist Union plans to submit a bill Monday that would dissolve the government and set fresh elections on Jun 26. They will request that the Knesset fast-track the bill so it can be passed within two days of its submission. The coalition is also planning a bill to dissolve the government and call elections.
10 Mar: A Blessed Sabbath for All God’s Faithful!
9 Mar: Korea Breaking- President Trump is demanding impossible concrete verifiable steps by the DPRK. Trump’s “I accept, but” makes it appear that a summit in April or even May – now appears unlikely.
Israel Breaking- Yisrael Beiteinu leader Liberman rejects proposed Draft Law compromise aimed at averting early elections.
Korea- After resisting for months Trump accepts DPRK proposal for freeze of North Korean nuclear and missile tests, and agrees to meet with Kim in April. Publicly US South Korean military exercises will continue but none are currently scheduled before the planned summit.
USA- Trump signs tariffs on Steel and Aluminum exempting Canada and Mexico.
Israel- Rumors of a possible compromise in the coalition crisis will be discussed and Netanyahu is to decide on elections Sunday.
Netanyahu has said that he will use the present Heredi draft crisis to call elections unless the other parties guarantee that they will not bring his government down if he is indicted. Jewish Home party leader Bennett has refused making an election inevitable unless someone backs down on Sunday.
Palestine- Abbas under pressure from Egypt and Arabs to agree to Trump peace plan.
8 Mar: 2,000 IDF Aerial Defense troops will participate alongside some 1,400 US Marines and 1,100 sailors, in a massive joint exercise with US Army’s European Command (EUCOM). The USS Iwo Jima and Patriot missile defense systems, as well as the USS Mount Whitney Aegis ballistic missile defense system, communication systems, 25 aircraft, and three hovercraft will also participate in exercises through to the end of March. Assets will then remain in the region as long as needed.
Hezbollah- Hezbollah has gone to emergency war footing over apparent US approval of Israeli attack.
7 Mar: Palestine- The nearly 700-member Palestine National Council will meet on April 30 in Ramallah. The meeting will discuss political issues and fill positions on the powerful 18 member Executive Committee. The EC will then elect a leader to replace the aging ailing Abbas in the near future.
US-Israel- The USS Iwo Jima pocket carrier has arrived in Haifa. The ship is bringing a massive supply of ammunition along with air defense systems to northern Israel to augment the Juniper Cobra air defense exercise now under way. 750 US Marines will operate the air defense systems [probably Patriots and ship board systems] being deployed, while 650 marines are being deployed for other assignments in Israel [probably to assist in the supply chain]. War is looming between Israel and Hezbollah-Lebanon- Syria- Iran. Netanyahu told AIPAC that Israel will stop Iran, which is a warning to expect war soon.
6 Mar: Israel- Netanyahu ultimatum: “without an agreement that ensures the government’s continued life span [to the next scheduled elections], there is no choice but to go to elections [now].” The Council of Torah Sages convenes on Wednesday to formulate the final position for the Orthodox parties.
Mideast Peace- With an Israeli election possible in June, “Elections for a new PLO leadership – in May” – A senior Palestinian official announced that the organization’s national council will meet in May when the US embassy is moved to Jerusalem. The front runner to succeed the ailing Abbas. The last conference of the Council was held in 2009. (Maariv). This opens the way for a new Israeli government to strike a deal with the new Palestinian government at the post war peace conference.
Korea- North Korea announces that they are prepared to denuclearize in exchange for security guarantees. North and South Korean presidents will hold a summit meet next month and the North has agreed to refrain from conducting nuclear and missile tests while engaging in dialogue with South Korea. The DPRK also requested talks with the United States.
Israel- Netanyahu denies he is manipulating coalition crisis from the shadows to avoid responsibility for a election he really wants. The political consensus is that Bibi wants to have elections now rather than after being indicted for corruption, so he can say he is the nation’s choice and use delaying tactics to bury the charges in endless appeals and court hearings. If true this could be a good ploy since the vast majority of Israeli’s oppose the Heredi draft exemption bill.
5 Mar: Israel- Dramatic developments as a third Netanyahu confidant signs state’s evidence against him. He will not only testify, he will provide recordings of the PM and his wife.
Coalition crisis is escalating and an election call next week is likely. A June election date is being discussed.
Europe- No clear winner in Italian election.
US says Trump will sign steel tariffs next week. Trump lacking the foresight of Bible Prophecy is counting on the present political instability in Europe for move to appease backers; not seeing the collapse of the coming peace deal and the Psalm 83 alliance of Europe with Turkey, Jordan, the Palestinians and the Arab nations who will abandon the petrodollar. See Trump Trade War below.
4 Mar: Trump- Donald Trump says a president for life a great idea. Speculates that a lifelong president is the future of the USA. If the Republicans win big in the midterm elections after the coming victories, Trump will be in position to take emergency powers during the coming economic collapse.
Syria- Syrian forces and allies have entered East Ghouta and are liberating the foreign backed rebel Damascus suburb.
Germany- SPD approves grand coalition, but Merkel under pressure in her own CDU.
Israel- Israeli officials are discussing a June election as PM Netanyahu is visiting Washington to confer with Trump about the looming war and the subsequent peace deal. Bibi may call an election before the mid March spring recess and fight the long planned war to enhance a Mister Security election platform. Ahead in the polls now, if the war is costly and bloody and corruption indictments are filed Bibi could lose big time.
Trump Trade War- Addressing a group of industrial executives Trump has threatened a massive 25% import duty on steel product imports. The threat caught even his own staff by surprise.
The World Trade Organization and International Monetary Fund have both issued statements voicing concerns about the threatened 10% tariff on aluminum imports, and a 25% tariff on steel imports.
Trump’s threat to set the tariffs was made Wednesday night, with officials saying Trump was “angry and gunning for a fight,” with one official having described him as becoming “unglued” when he made the decision. Trump has since bragged that “trade wars are good, and easy to win.” He suggested that cutting trade with nations who “get cute” with the US would mean the US wins big, since they had deficits with them in the first place.
The European Union is already setting up a list of American companies to tax in response of Trump goes through with the move. Harley Davidson, bourbon whiskey, and Levi’s jeans are visible American products that could be hit with retaliatory tariffs in the first round of this trade war.
Indeed, given how reliant US industries are on steel and aluminum imports, there is a strong case to be made that the tariffs are going to hurt American manufacturing as much as anyone, and economists are warning that the cost of this sort of move will have very predictable results, and all of them bad.
