Isaiah 1-22

Prophets and Prophesying:  An Introduction to Isaiah

To prophesy is to communicate information by inspiration of God, to utter forth, and declare, a thing which can only be known by divine revelation;  to teach, refute, reprove, admonish and comfort others; and by God’s authority and command, in words of weight and powerful authority, plead the cause of God and urge repentance to salvation for men,  to instruct,  encourage, rebuke, convict, and stimulate, their hearers.

A true prophet is a person who passes on information not generally known or understood, as an agent of God.

He or she may make predictions or reveal things which cannot be known by other means.

Through the inspiration of God, the prophets were inspired by God to write the scriptures which were then canonized by Ezra and confirmed through their use by Christ.

Biblically prophets were almost always sent to the religious and civil leaders to  correct and rebuke them when the church of God or the kings of Israel had gone astray.  And intermixed with their correction were promises of deliverance upon repentance through the gospel of salvation and a coming Messiah.

Today a prophet may reveal the meanings of scriptures not currently understood, or reveal further understanding of the scriptures which would be consistent with the scriptures, and he or she may  be sent to  instruct, comfort, encourage, rebuke, convict, and stimulate the religious and civil authorities, and they may be used by God to deliver divine messages to individuals and organizations.

The example of Nathan the prophet who corrected and rebuked David is a classic example of the responsibilities of a prophet.

Generally God called out a prophet to correct the established religious hierarchy when the religious leaders of the day [the priesthood, or in modern times the Church of God groups] were so corrupted that He could no longer work with them as is the case in the called out Ekklesia today.

Prophets would also work with and support and encourage the faithful religious leaders, as they did with Paul and the New Testament apostles.

Isaiah 1

“YHVH is salvation” was a prophet who lived in the 8th-century BC Kingdom of Judah.

Isaiah rebukes sin and prophesies correction for a sinful Judah and for all the nations of the world that oppose God; this is in type, a pre-tribulation warning for the latter day, as ALL scripture is written for OUR instructions,

2 Timothy 3:16   All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all [godly] good works [which is the keeping of all the teachings and commandments of Christ].

Today we are to take all the writings of the biblical prophets and apply them to ourselves personally and to our groups.

Isaiah prophesied of our correction and the reasons, the coming of Messiah and of the restoration of the nation of Israel and repentance in God’s glorious future kingdom.

Isaiah give Judah and today’s Ekklesia, the reasons for their and OUR coming correction.  Isaiah tells US why both the nations and the wayward lukewarm COG, are going to fall into the correction of great tribulation for one last time.

I warn our readers that the major prophets very powerfully condemn the sins of Judah, Israel and the latter day called out Ekklesia as well as the wickedness of all humanity.

Isaiah 1:1 The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

YHWH [the one who gave up his God-Hood to be made flesh as Jesus Christ] speaks to Isaiah saying that he has cared for Judah like a godly father cares for his children and the children are rebellious against Him.

This applies to physical Judah of that day and of today; it also applies to those spiritually called out by God the Father to Christ, who have become spiritually lukewarm and rebellious against the Word of God; as today’s spiritual Ekklesia stands on their own ways and false traditions contrary to the Word of God.

1:2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

The dumb ox knows its owner, but today’s spiritual Ekklesia has become separated from Christ by their spiritual adulteries in exalting men, organizations and traditions above their espoused husband and God the Father.

1:3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.

Today corporate organizations of the spiritual Ekklesia have forsaken the Word of God for their own ways and false traditions; and made idols out of men, false traditions and organizations; so that they are fallen away from the Eternal who ONLY can save us.

1:4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

We are spiritually sick having separated ourselves from our Deliverer, to stand on our own ways; and for this cause we are spiritually weak and far away from our God.

1:5 Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

Today’s corporate Ekklesia are corrupted with all manner of error and sin; and you will not accept and teach the truth because of your false traditions.

1:6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.

Your spiritual wealth of understanding has been dissipated by our sins; we even allow strange [false] doctrine in our midst which makes our groups spiritually desolate.

1:7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.

The few true faithful zealous brethren are left standing alone and persecuted among us like a besieged city

1:8 And the daughter of Zion is left [the faithful are left standing alone] as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.

Christ would have utterly destroyed the lukewarm and rebellious church of God, but because the zealous loved God and their brethren, they pray often that their brethren be not totally destroyed as Moses prayed for the people.

1:9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

Our called out religious leaders and elders are like Sodom and Gomorrah in their rebellion against our Maker:  Return to the law, Word and commandments of our Mighty God!

1:10 Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.

God is sick of our offerings and false repentance and our lukewarmness for HIM; he is sick of us exalting our idols of men, organizations and traditions above his Word,  teachings and commandments. God has become revolted and repulsed by our making offerings and partaking of the Passover of Christ, only to rush to continue in our sins.

What sins you ask?  Read on through this Isaiah study for Isaiah reveals our many sins against Christ in future chapters.

1:11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

Those who appear before God on Sabbath, or Holy Days, or even in some cases on the New Moons; and DO NOT keep the commandments and teachings of Christ but stand on their own ways, idolizing and exalting men, false traditions and organizations, while tolerating sin and false doctrine; make God disgusted with their Feasts and Sabbaths.

It is a sin and a disgusting abomination to appear before God without sincere repentance for idolizing false traditions and tolerating false teachings and sin!

God cannot endure the assembling of unrepentant sinners at his Feasts and longer; we have made HIS assemblies into meetings of following men and false traditions instead of assemblies to follow and learn of the teachings and commandments of God.

1:12 When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts? 1:13 Bring no more vain [meaningless offerings] oblations; incense [your prayers] is an abomination unto me; [your continual  sins make] the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot  away with [this is a bad translation H3201 means God rejects the assemblies of the unrepentant idolaters of men: “Away with them,  God can not endure them any longer”]; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.

Jesus Christ hates the Feasts because we keep them without repentance and without any zeal to live by every Word of God!  We keep God’s assemblies in our own ways instead of in the ways that God has commanded.

Today we do not even keep the annual Sabbaths on the days that God has commanded, and we call God’s Sabbaths HOLY and then openly declare ourselves justified in polluting them!

1:14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.

God will not hear our prayers because they are from insincere people who will not obey him.

1:15 And when ye spread forth your hands [in prayer], I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood [sin].

Let us sincerely repent of our transgressions and turn to live by every Word of God with Christ-like wholehearted zeal.  Let us exalt the Father a d the Son and all his teachings and commandments above all else, let us root out and destroy every false way as individuals and as groups.

1:16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; 1:17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

If we will only return to our Lord and all his ways, teachings and commandments; to wholeheartedly do all God’s will; he will cleanse away of all our sins and make us clean before the Father and make us an acceptable part of the bride of the Son.

1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

If we repent sincerely and wholeheartedly to Learn and Keep the Word and Will of God, we shall be delivered and inherit a part in God’s good Kingdom. If we continue in sin we shall reap the reward of correction for our sins.

1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 1:20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Today’s Church of God has sold herself into sin, for the sake of numbers and money!  Today’s spiritual Ekklesia has watered down and perverted sound doctrine for transitory physical rewards!

1:21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.

Our zeal and love of TRUTH has been perverted into pride of organization and tolerance for false ways.  Our good things have fallen by the wayside.

1:22 Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water: 1:23 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.

Today’s called out spiritual Ekklesia has refused to live by every Word of God and has made ourselves God’s adversaries; Therefore we are at the point of being rejected by Jesus Christ and spewed out of his body onto great correction (Rev 3:14-22).

1:24 Therefore saith the LORD, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies: 1:25 And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:

After the lukewarm for God are corrected in great tribulation, the Kingdom of God shall be set up with the coming of Messiah and his resurrected chosen.

1:26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city. 1:27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.

Evil and evil doers shall be destroyed from out of this world; and the whole earth shall be filled with righteousness of the Will and Word of God.  All those who make idols of men and refuse to live by every Word of God will be strongly corrected and if they remain unrepentant they will be destroyed.

1:28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.

As these people worshipped false gods in their own places [gardens and under the shade of trees] instead of going to present themselves before God at his temple.  Today we worship idols of men, false traditions, false doctrines, and we idolize our organizations; therefore we shall be confounded and our immense pride shall be brought to contrition and ground  into powder.

1:29 For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen. 1:30 For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a garden that hath no water.

Our leaders who lead us astray shall be as dry grass before a raging fire, and those who conceive and teach false doctrines shall be as sparks and they shall both fall into the fire of great tribulation together.

1:31 And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.

Isaiah 2

As you see this war come and go and the abomination set up, followed by great tribulation; KNOW that the HOPE of humanity and the zealous of the Ekklesia is in sight and knocking at the very door.

The Word 0f God concerning Jerusalem as the capital of Judah

After the correction of tribulation has humbled Judah, Israel and spiritual Israel along with the whole earth; a millennial temple will be built and the city shall be exalted in the top of all the world’s mountains [governments] and all nations shall be grafted into the spiritual Israel of the spiritual Ekklesia in the Kingdom of God.

Isaiah 2:1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain [government of God] of the LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains [all the governments of the earth], and shall be exalted above the hills [lesser governments of men, states and provinces] ; and all nations shall flow unto it.

Then all peoples and nations will  learn and live by every Word of God, and the King of kings shall rule all nations!

Great is our God and mighty to save all the repentant who turn away from tolerating sin, false doctrine and lukewarmness; to embrace a Christ-like  zeal to live by every Word of God! Holy is our Mighty One and glorious in his strength, for he is victorious over all his enemies even over death and the grave!

2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain [the temple] of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

The Messiah the Christ shall judge all people by every Word of God and will destroy war for a thousand years, and after one last final battle will destroy all violence, pain and sorrow forever!  He is the Mighty One who parted the Red Sea and made the sun stand still; the great wisdom which created the universe!  What is a man that he should think he can stand on his own ways?

2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Beloved brethren of spiritual Israel; come and let us turn in passionate zeal for our espoused Husband and Deliverer! Let us live by the light of every Word of God in all things; always!

2:5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

As physical and spiritual Judah has forsaken their God; so their God has forsaken them until they repent and turn to HIM.

Why will we be forsaken and corrected in great tribulation and captivity?  Because we have turned from zeal for our God to follow false gods of our own devising.

2:6 Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east [a reference to the idolatry of looking east to the sun god], and are soothsayers like the Philistines [casting horoscopes like the Philistines did], and they please themselves [marry unconverted wives] in the children of strangers.

As our land is filled with physical riches and modern chariots [cars and trucks]; so we have trusted in ourselves and our own ways, falsely thinking that we have gotten our wealth because God has blessed us for our own righteousness, and we have lost sight of how truly wicked we really are  (Rev 3:12-22).

Spiritual Israel also seeks physical wealth and trying to gain more numbers and income, turns aside into lukewarmness for the Word of God and tolerance for sin and false teachings.

2:7 Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:

Christ will not forgive spiritual Israel for we are adulterers against Him; who idolize men and organizations made by men’s hands. We bow down to false traditions and corporate idols exalting them above the Word of God.

2:8 Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made: 2:9 And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself [before idols, and idols of men] : therefore forgive them not.

Save yourself from the wrath of our espoused Husband, against whom we have committed spiritual adultery, by repenting sincerely and wholeheartedly turning to HIM to Learn and Keep every Word of God  IN PASSIONATE RIGHTEOUS LOVE AND ZEAL!  Hide yourself in his mercy for the sincerely repentant and those who are zealous for ALL his ways !

2:10 Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty.

Let our Mighty One be exalted above all the earth and all that therein is!  Bow to NO man in spiritual things, following men ONLY as they follow Christ.

2:11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

All proud men shall be humbled and brought down.  How many proud men are there in spiritual Israel?  Every person who exalts men, organizations and traditions above the Word of God; is proud and vain and will be corrected in the fire of great tribulation; because they have rejected living by every Word of God; God will reject them.

2:12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low: 2:13 And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan, 2:14 And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up, 2:15 And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall, 2:16 And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.

2:17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

Christ shall utterly destroy all our idols and lovers [like the corporate entities that we love so much] !  What are our idols?  Our organizations which we obey rather than obeying Christ have become our idols and these organizations shall be utterly destroyed by Jesus Christ so that the people will learn to live by every Word of God!

2:18 And the idols he shall utterly abolish.

Christ will reveal himself in his glory and might, so that the peoples of Spiritual Israel and of all the earth, may learn to fear and respect God, and turn to live by every Word of God.

God the Father and Christ are Awesome and Mighty!  There is NONE LIKE THEM!

What is man before God?  And why do men claiming to represent him, mock him by doing their own ways; and not living by every Word of the Glorious God who holds eternal life and death in the palm of his hand?

2:19 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD ]YHVH] , and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

The correction of great tribulation and the coming of Christ will cause every one to destroy his idols and turn away from the exalting of any man; and they will turn their hearts to their Creator and Deliverer and King of kings.

2:20 In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

The earth shall shake at his appearing and the pride of men will disappear as if it had never been, for fear of the Great Judge who rewards those who zealously love HIM and corrects the wicked who do not seek to learn and live by every Word of God.

2:21 To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD [YHVH], and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

Brethren, STOP exalting men by blindly following them without question, and prove all things by the Word of God, being diligent to passionately love and obey our beloved espoused husband with wholehearted zeal.

2:22 Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?

Isaiah 3

In the tribulation, physical and spiritual Israel will be in famine and drought; and evil officers, whether military or spiritual overseers [bad shepherds] shall be destroyed.

Isaiah 3:1 For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water. 3:2 The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient, 3:3 The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.

We in the Ekklesia have been spiritual children who are childish and always demanding our own ways; God has given us wicked childish elders to rule over us; because we have not been zealous for the Word of Almighty God.

3:4 And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.

The brethren who are zealous, indeed all the brethren are persecuted and oppressed by foolish shepherds.

3:5 And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.

During the tribulation no man will want to lead, for every man is consumed with obtaining the necessities of life.

3:6 When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand: 3:7 In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.

Our nations and the Laodicean church of God will fall and will be crushed by the will of our God; because of the multitudes of our compromising sins and law breaking, our tolerance of sin and false teachings and our many words to justify our sins against the Word of God.

3:8 For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue [words]  and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.

We openly declare the Sabbaths holy and then openly pollute them, the same with the Holy Days; we openly reject the truth of God’s Biblical Calendar for pagan tradition, we idolize men and organizations above the Word of God and much more.  The list of our sins is very long; and we are adamant to sin just as we are adamant in declaring our own righteousness.

3:9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.

The zealous for all the things of God shall inherit eternal life and a good reward, while the lukewarm and wicked shall have correction and if unrepentant, destruction as their reward.

3:10 Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their [zealous commandments keeping] doings. 3:11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

Some of our tough leaders are really henpecked husbands, dominated and controlled by their wives.  Women ruling is not always right out in the open.

Many of our leaders and elders are leading us away from Christ and causing us to follow themselves and their false traditions, rather than teaching us a Christ-like  zeal for God.  They present themselves as God’s leaders, which is a terrible lie to deceive; for the servants of God would be obeying God and teaching others to do likewise!

3:12 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

The leaders and elders do eat up the people and make merchandise of them.  Causing the people to be followers of men and false traditions, and NOT followers of Christ and every Word of God.

Therefore Christ will plead with these deceivers in the fire of tribulation; and these foolish shepherds shall be judged by the owner of the flock.

3:13 The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people. 3:14 The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients [elders] of his people, and the princes [leaders] thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard [consumed the brethren]; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.

Christ will call the shepherds to account.

3:15 What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

God will reveal the secret things of the latter day Ekklesia as well as the secrets of the latter day descendants of physical Israel.  He shall also smite us with sickness.

3:16 Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: 3:17 Therefore the LORD will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.

In the tribulation God shall destroy our great pride and take away all our self glorying and reveal the stink which we are in HIS nostrils, for all our sinfulness.

3:18 In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon, 3:19 The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers, 3:20 The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings, 3:21 The rings, and nose jewels, 3:22 The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins, 3:23 The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.

3:24 And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty. 3:25 Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.

The lukewarm for the law of God, who persecute and oppress the zealous in the Ekklesia; shall come to lament their sins as they are humbled like Job.

3:26 And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.

Isaiah 4

The tribulation will be especially hard on the men and very many will die, leaving only one man for every seven women.  At the end of the tribulation perhaps God will relax the marriage of monogamy for a short time out of mercy for the people.

Isaiah 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

The repentant who turn from sin have remained zealously attached to the true vine (John 15); will be chosen and resurrected to a glorious eternal life.  They shall rule the nations teaching the ways of God and the commandments of life eternal; and all Israel and all the earth shall be blessed.

4:2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

All peoples will repent and God’s Spirit shall be poured out on all flesh (Joel 2:28).  Jerusalem and all its inhabitants shall be made holy by the presence of the Christ the King of kings, and he shall purge out all sin and cleanse all the nations from sin beginning at Zion and Jerusalem.

4:3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem: 4:4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning [the cleansing fire of the Holy Spirit].

Then all people shall know that Christ is present and shall turn to God!

4:5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.

4:6 And there shall be a tabernacle [a protective tent] for a shadow in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

We shall see in the Ezekiel study that a millennial temple will also be built.

Isaiah 5

As Christ gathered Israel to himself as a nation; he will yet gather spiritual Israel to himself as his:

1 Peter 2:9   But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

Isaiah 5:1 Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill: 5:2 And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.

Jesus Christ lavished his love on his called out and gave to them the good things of his teachings and commandments. He cleansed us of sin, shedding his own blood to the death for us; he gave us of his Spirit his very nature. He cared for us like a loving spouse and gave us of his spiritual wisdom; only to be rejected by many of his people, who preferred their own ways to his wisdom and righteousness.

5:3 And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.

5:4 What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?

What will our Lord do to those he loves and hopes to save?

Will he not awaken the spiritual sluggard with the affliction of tribulation, and bring our pride and spiritual complacency to nothing?

Will he not call us to repentance and to a passionate zeal for every Word of God; crushing our zeal for our own ways and our lukewarmness for God’s Word with the fire of affliction; so that we may be turned back to an enthusiastic zeal for all God’s ways and be saved?

5:5 And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge  [the defenses] thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall [the defenses] thereof, and it shall be trodden down: 5:6 And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

Brethren, WE are the spiritual vineyard of Christ!

5:7 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of [spiritual] Israel, and the men of [spiritual] Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.

Woe unto them who think they are strong and righteous because of their numbers and wealth!

5:8 Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone [wealthy and strong] in the midst of the earth!

Our impressive organizations and grand edifices will be destroyed; even these great buildings and organizations are built to be destroyed to humble our pride.   Consider that Christ did not spare the magnificent Temples in Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 7:3   Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. 7:4  Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the Lord, The temple of the Lord, The temple of the Lord, are these.

Turn to your Deliverer and put your trust in HIM!  Put NO trust in your worldly wealth and numbers, nor in our pride and false tradition; but turn to our Mighty God, and all his will, ways and Holy Law.

The Mighty One delivered Israel from Pharaoh, and later sent physical Israel and Judah into captivity for all their transgressions; think not that he will spare us because we claim to be his people [like they did] as we follow our own idols.

5:9 In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.

Hebrew liquid measure, the tenth part of an homer ( 1 Kings 7:26  1 Kings 7:38 ;  Ezekiel 45:10  Ezekiel 45:14: is 3.5 quarts or liters). An omer contained 8 gallons 3 quarts of our measure. “Ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath” ( Isaiah 5:10 ) denotes great famine.

As physical Israel is brought low, so the proud unrepentant of the spiritual Ekklesia shall be brought low and humbled.

5:10 Yea, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of an homer shall yield an ephah.

As physical Israel is intoxicated; Woe unto those in spiritual Israel who intoxicate themselves with false teachings, pride and delusions of righteousness.

5:11 Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!

Physical Judah and spiritual Israel and some other religious people do rejoice in the Feasts, and yet have no zeal for the teachings and commandments of God.  Instead they rejoice because they think themselves righteous as they do what is right in their own eyes; not realizing that in God’s eyes we are:

Revelation 3:16   So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 3:17  Because thou sayest, I am [spiritually] rich, and increased with [spiritual knowledge] goods, and have need of nothing [no one, not even Christ through the scriptures can teach us anything];  and knowest not that thou art [spiritually] wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Isaiah 5:12 And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.

Laodicea is going into great tribulation because they have rejected the knowledge of the Word of God for their own ways; and their leaders and elders are famished and starving for the truth that comes from the zealously living by every Word of God.

The water of the Holy Spirit which is given to those who OBEY Christ, has been quenched through our disobedience and lack of zeal to live by every Word of God.

5:13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

The tribulation will be the grave of the unrepentant proud, who think themselves righteous and needing nothing spiritually.  The unrepentant lukewarm for the Word of God shall fall into great tribulation, that by the affliction of the flesh the spirit might be saved.

Our pride and rejoicing in ourselves shall be brought down to hell and the grave, being totally destroyed.

5:14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

Those who are lukewarm to live by every Word of God, who prefer to stand on false traditions and exalt men and organizations above the Word of God, shall be humbled by our Mighty One; and he shall be exalted in the eyes of every person.

5:15 And the mean [lowly, poor] man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled: 5:16 But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

In the Kingdom of God the spiritual lambs of the flock of God shall feed on the Word of God, filling themselves with the Unleavened Bread and the Waters of Eternal Life!

5:17 Then shall the lambs feed after their manner, and the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat.

Woe to all those who claim godliness while rejecting the truth of Holy Scripture and standing on false traditions, exalting men and organizations in idolatry, and engaging in unrepentant sin against the Holy One!

5:18 Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope: 5:19 That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!

Woe unto the evil shepherds who lead the flock away from sound doctrine and the good food of the Word of God!  Woe unto those who think they are  wise in their own ways and teach false ways, causing people to sin and turn away from zeal for the commandments of God; and into the idolatry of pride in their leaders and organizations, loving them more than they love God.

5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 5:21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

Woe unto the spiritually intoxicated, drunk with their own pride and ways, who think that they know better than God’s Word and reject knowledge.

Woe unto the elders who know better and still teach the brethren to support wicked leaders and false teachings for a pay cheque and deceive the righteous out of the righteousness of zeal to live by every Word of God!

5:22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: 5:23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

God is NOT a respecter of persons!  As he brought the captivity of Israel and Judah in times past; he will also correct us for the same wickedness!

The leaders and elders of today’s called out spiritual Ekklesia who stand on false traditions and reject the knowledge of God; who are wise in your own eyes while being spiritually ignorant from rejecting knowledge; who idolize men and organizations, committing spiritual adultery by following then instead of our espoused Husband:  Shall be corrected with great tribulation and bitter sorrows.

Galatians 6:7   Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 6:8  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Isaiah 5:24 Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

If physical Israel were the people of God; how much more is spiritual Israel?  If physical Israel was corrected because of sin; how much more shall we be corrected because of the same sins?

Brethren, we have kindled the anger of our LORD; our only hope is to repent quickly and entreat him for his great mercy; because the fire of correction is at our door.

5:25 Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets.  For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

The fire and affliction of great tribulation is at our door and will begin when the miracle working false prophet goes to the Holy Place (Mat 24:15).

5:26 And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly: 5:27 None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:

Modern war machines are even more fearful and devastating.  Do not be deceived by the coming victory and a peace agreement, for when peace is declared we shall be suddenly and unexpectedly destroyed (1 Thess 5:3).

5:28 Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses’ hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind: 5:29 Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.  5:30 And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.

Isaiah 6

The Seraphs are described; and the great glory of our espoused Husband, the coming King of kings; in his Millennial Temple is  revealed.

Isaiah 6:1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train [presence]  filled the temple.  6:2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.

The Millennial Temple when the whole earth is filled with the Glory of Christ.

6:3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. 6:4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

In vision Isaiah is called by Christ and sent forth to prophesy

6:5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

Isaiah is purified from sin and responds to be a willing servant of Christ

6:6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: 6:7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

Isaiah the volunteer prophet is sent by Christ

6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

The people must be warned and the zealous for God who are filled with God’s Spirit will understand and respond, but the proud, lukewarm and worldly will not repent until they have been corrected.  Once they are in trials they will remember the warnings and many will repent and turn to zeal for every Word of God.

6:9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. 6:10 Make the heart of this people fat [proud], and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

This warning shall go out until the coming of Messiah and his deliverance.  The coming two prophets are not only types of Moses and Elijah, they are a culmination and climax [the last of the prophets before Christ] of all the prophets.

6:11 Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate, 6:12 And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.

Matthew 22;14   For many are called, but few are [will be] chosen.

We shall be chosen by our zeal for our LORD, to do all his will as written in his teachings and commandments, and to live by every Word of God.

Isaiah 6:13 But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.

Isaiah 7

Israel goes to war against Judah.

Isaiah 7:1 And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.

Syria then allies with Israel against Judah bringing fear upon Judah and Jerusalem.

7:2 And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.

Isaiah is sent to the king of Judah.

7:3 Then said the LORD unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son [meaning “the remnant shall return” ], at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller’s field;

Isaiah delivers a message from Christ to the king of Judah.

7:4 And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin [king of Syria] with [the anger of the Syrians against Judah] Syria, and of [Pekah] the son of Remaliah [king of Israel].

The prophecy is that Judah shall be saved from Ephraim and Syria, and  Ephraim shall be removed from the land in 65 years [by the Assyrians]  if Ahaz will believe and trust in God.

7:5 Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying, 7:6 Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal: 7:7 Thus saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.

7:8 For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people. 7:9 And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.

Christ offers Ahaz a sign through Isaiah.

7:10 Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying, 7:11 Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. 7:12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.

7:13 And he [Isaiah] said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?

Isaiah then prophesies of his own son Immanuel who was conceived in the usual way, as a type of the Messiah and his physical birth.

The word “conceive” used here; when  referring to Mary and Jesus, is not consistent with the modern meaning of “conceive” which is the meeting of a sperm and an egg cell.

The actual Hebrew word  hereh  means “to be with child, to be pregnant” and does not refer to the means by which the woman is with child.

Today one can take an egg and combine it with a sperm and then place the fertilized egg in the womb of a woman who is a third person and has nothing to do with the conception, only carrying the fertilized egg to maturity.

It was not until very recent modern times when the idea of surrogate motherhood came; that it could be understood that the Creator could be made flesh and reduced to the smallest human being and then placed inside Mary as his surrogate mother.  Christ was certainly physically born of Mary and was by that fact an heir of David; yet he is not a hybrid between God and man.

The word “virgin” here which actually means “young girl,”  can be translated as a young girl [Isaiah’s wife], with no involvement of the meaning of a virgin as we understand it.

Some have used that fact to argue against the virgin birth, but the matter is made plain in the New Testament

Luke 1:34  Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

In fact this prophecy is dual; first referring to a son to be born to Isaiah’s wife named Immanuel as a fore-type; and also referring to the main fulfillment in the birth of Jesus by the virgin Mary (Luke 1:34).

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin [young girl in the fore-type as the mother of Isaiah’s son Immanuel; and referring to a true virgin (Luke 1:34) in the main fulfillment of the birth of Jesus the son of Mary]  shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

The son of Isaiah was named Immanuel [God is with us; ie with Isaiah and his family], as a type; that a true virgin, Mary [Hebrew: Miriam]  shall bear Jesus [Hebrew: Yeshua; meaning Salvation].  Jesus shall know from his earliest life to choose the good and godly will of the Father, and to despise all evil and compromise with the Father’s will, nature, teachings and commandments.

Oh, how I would that we could all learn to do the same thing!

All men shall learn and do the same thing in the soon coming Kingdom of God!

7:15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

After the inset prophecy of the birth of Christ, the prophecy shifts from Jesus to Immanuel the son of Isaiah and Isaiah prophesies of a son of Ahaz, and Judah and the Assyrian defeat of Israel.

7:16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou [Judah] abhorrest [Syria and the ten tribes] shall be forsaken of both her kings [conquered by the Assyrians].

Isaiah says that God shall bring the Assyrians against Syria and the ten tribes.

A Prophecy of the coming of the Assyrians against Judah as well

At the end times God shall also bring the Assyrians and their allies against not only the Ten Tribes but also against Judah herself!

The next verse is dual speaking of the latter time when Judah shall also fall with Israel (Hos 5:5).  Which thing has NEVER happened until the end of days.

Speaking to the king of Judah [not Israel] Isaiah declares:

7:17 The LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father’s house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria

This was fulfilled in the days of Hezekiah (2 Kings 18-19, 2 Chronicles 32).

7:18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria. 7:19 And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.

The hair is symbolic of strength [remember Samson] and glory [remember 1 Cor 11]  and shaving the head was a traditional sign of mourning, therefore this is talking about removing the glory and strength of Judah and Israel by the Assyrians and their allies.

7:20 In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor [bring to mourning] that is hired [hired foreign soldiers and allies]  namely, [Judah and her allies were made to mourn by the Assyrians] by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.

The humble will be left in the land

7:21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep; 7:22 And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land.

7:23 And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns. 7:24 With arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land shall become briers and thorns.

7:25 And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock [cultivated], there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle [sheep and goats].

Isaiah 8

Isaiah 8:1 Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man’s pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz. [“Hurry to spoil!” or “He has made haste to the plunder!”]

8:2 And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.

8:3 And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz.

The name Maher-shalal-hash-baz is a reference to the impending plunder of Samaria and Damascus by the king of Assyria, Tiglath Pileser III (734-732 BCE).

8:4 For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before [by the Assyrians] the king of Assyria.

8:5 The LORD spake also unto me again, saying, 8:6 Forasmuch as this people [Ephraim and the Ten Tribes] refuseth the waters of Shiloah [rejects the water of the Word of God] that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son [Syria, symbolic of following idols of men];

God prophesies to the child Immanuel the son of Isaiah that the Assyrians are coming and that there will be no more delay.

8:7 Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks: 8:8 And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel.

It is God who brings the Assyrian and his allies up against Israel and Judah for the multitude of their transgressions. Even if all the people allied themselves together to resist; they shall fail for the Assyrian is fulfilling the will of Almighty God.

In this latter day this same thing will happen again and it will not be a situation – as thought by many in the Ekklesia – where a wicked Germany is attacking a righteous America and Israel; Far from that; This is Almighty God using Germany and her allies to correct a wicked America, Judah  and spiritual  Israel [the Laodiceans]  for the overspreading of their many abominations.

In this latter day Babylon the Great which will include the German, Hungarian and Austrian [Assyrian] people will occupy Jerusalem for 42 months:

Revelation 11:2 . . . . and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

Isaiah 8:9 Associate yourselves [ally together], O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. 8:10 Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.

8:11 For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, 8:12 Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.

Do not seek help from men, seek  our God and be zealous for our Holy One for in HIM ONLY is our help.  Fear God and not man, and put your trust in the Eternal, and live by every Word of God always.

8:13 Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

Jesus Christ is a stumbling stone to BOTH the Houses of Israel and Judah!

The House of Israel will not accept the teachings of Jesus to live by every Word of God (Mat 4:4) even though some in the Ten Tribes give Christ lip-service and most of Judah rejects Christ outright

Nevertheless, in this end time, Jesus Christ will be a sanctuary and a refuge for all who are diligent to live by every Word of God.

8:14 And he shall be for a sanctuary [for the faithfully zealous for HIM]; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem

Jesus is a snare for all those who think that simply believing in him and not marrying belief in him with the works of righteousness – which are living by every Word of God – is enough.

Brethren, Jesus Christ, who many claim to serve, has become our stumbling stone; for we have no Christ-like zeal to live by every Word of God as Christ taught [Mat 4:4)  and instead equate loyalty and zeal for our false traditions, leaders and  organizations to be equal  or more important than to any love of God to live by God’s Word.

We have stumbled over obedience and zeal towards our espoused Husband and his Holy Father in heaven!

8:15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.

Let the disciples of Christ bind up his Testimony – the Word and Law of God –  in their hearts; and wholeheartedly internalize and live by every Word of God!

8:16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

Let the faithfully zealous LEARN and KEEP every Word of God, to faithfully serve him like good servants.

As Isaiah and his family were signs and examples of godliness in Judah, those faithful to live by every Word of God are signs and examples today!

The faithful and passionately zealous to LEARN and DO all that Christ teaches and commands [which is to live by every Word of God], shall be signs and examples to all their brethren who are zealous for their own ways and not zealous for every Word of God.

8:17 And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him. 8:18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

When we quote strange gods and false religions and the doctrines of men; Is it because the Mighty One whom we claim to follow is not known to  us?

8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

If today’s leaders of the spiritual called out Ekklesia do not speak according to the teachings and commandments of God the Father and Jesus Christ; it is because they are false leaders and Christ is NOT in them!

1 Thessalonians  5:19   Quench not the Spirit.  5:20  Despise not prophesyings. 5:21  Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

AWAY with false traditions!  Away with idolizing men and organizations!  Away with polluting the sanctity of God’s Sabbaths!

SEEK out, LEARN and EMBRACE with all our hearts, and KEEP the testimony [teachings] and every Word of God our Mighty One

Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word [the Word of God], it is because there is no light in them.

Soon the wicked and lukewarm for every Word of God, who are zealous for corporate idols, false teachers and false traditions, shall be in great tribulation; and as they are humbled and learn that their own ways are not good, they shall repent of following the leaders and elders who led them astray, and the false gods of their corporations and false traditions shall be abhorred by them:  and they shall look up in contrite repentance to their Holy One!

8:21 And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward [look to the Eternal in contrite wholehearted repentance].

The lukewarm who are wicked in all their sins and idolatry, shall find no comfort in all the earth; only trouble and darkness, and anguish of flesh and spirit.

Turn to zeal to serve your God Oh physical and spiritual Israel; be passionately faithful, loyal and obedient to HIM; for he alone is YOUR SALVATION!

NEVER blindly and without question follow men; ALWAYS TEST and PROVE all men by the Word of God and follow men ONLY as they follow Christ and live by every Word of God the Father!

Isaiah then begins to speak of darkness and trouble in multiple senses: First, of the people in captivity in those days and then also in the tribulation of the latter day; and, second he speaks of the spiritual darkness of the people at the birth and physical appearance of Christ the great light, and then the same spiritual darkness of the nations and most of the Laodicean called out spiritual Ekklesia, just before the coming of Christ to rule the nations.  This will come in Chapter 9.

8:22 And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.

Isaiah 9

Isaiah prophecies about the great light of Christ when he comes in the flesh and midway through the chapter turns to the correction of Israel and spiritual Israel in the tribulation.

John 1:1   In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

1:2  The same was in the beginning with God. 1:3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

1:4  In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 1:5  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Jesus was to come when religious darkness filled the land of Judea, but that darkness was not nearly as great a wickedness as the spiritual darkness in the time of Isaiah.

Isaiah 9:1 Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation [the correction of Israel by the Assyrians and the later Babylonian captivity of Judah], when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.

A prophecy of the coming of Christ

9:2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

The elect rejoiced when Messiah came, and will rejoice when he returns

9:3 Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

Christ has broken the yoke of sin with his sacrifice

9:4 For thou [Messiah] [Christ through his perfect life of faithfulness to God the Father, and HIS sacrifice and resurrection as our High Priest has broken the yoke of Satan and the oppression of sin from off the backs of the zealous elect], hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor  as in the day of Midian. 9:5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.

9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

9:8 The Lord sent a [the] word [Jesus Christ]  into Jacob, and it [he came to Judah of Israel] hath lighted upon Israel.

In the latter days God shall humble Judah and Ephraim and the Ten Tribes (Hosea 5:5) in great tribulation.  This shall also come upon spiritual Israel for the overspreading of their rebellions and sins against their espoused Husband.

In Isaiah’s time God brought the Assyrians up against Israel and against Judah of Hezekiah, and the Assyrians will come again in our time as part of the rising New Europe.

9:9 And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart, 9:10 The bricks are fallen down, but we will build [rebuild] with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars. 9:11 Therefore the LORD shall set up the adversaries [the Assyrians] of Rezin [Syria] against him, and join his enemies together; 9:12 The Syrians before, and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Because physical and spiritual Israel will not turn back to God in wholehearted zealous repentance, they shall be cut off from Christ (Rev 3:14-22).

9:13 For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them [the correction is from Christ by the tool of Assyria], neither do they seek the LORD of hosts.

9:14 Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day. 9:15 The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.

It is the leaders, elders  and teachers of the Church of God groups which cause the people to err from Christ and make idols of men and organizations and false teachings.

9:16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.

Today’s spiritual Ekklesia is full of sin and they know it not (Rev 3:14-22); persisting in our spiritual adulteries with false teachings and false traditions; while idolizing organizations and apostate leaders.

9:17 Therefore the LORD shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Because we are proud and arrogant, rejoicing in our sin and thinking ourselves righteous; the Eternal will reject us into the great tribulation of HIS correction and we shall be afflicted and devoured by sufferings; that we might be humbled ad turn to Christ and God the Father in wholehearted sincere contrite repentance.

The conditions shall be so severe that men will care only for themselves and will only be concerned about preserving themselves for one more day at a time.

9:18 For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke. 9:19 Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother. 9:20 And he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm:

In Isaiah’s day Israel was against Judah and in this latter day every man and family and tribe shall be against every other person just to survive in the time that tries the whole earth.

9:21 Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh: and they together shall be against Judah.

For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Isaiah 10

In the spiritual sense the lines below refer to those who pervert or reject the sound doctrine [teachings] of God’s Word and teach false ways for their own gain.

Isaiah 10:1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;

Turning the spiritually needy away from God’s teachings and judgments; and taking away the truth from the spiritually humble; that the spiritually weak may become a prey for the personal gain of the false teachers.  Not giving justice to the brethren neither teaching them to live by every Word of God, and taking more than what is lawful.

10:2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!

What will these false teachers do in the time of their correction in great tribulation?  Do you think that Christ will help you after you had rejected his ways for your own false traditions and sins?

10:3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?

Without zealous enthusiasm for learning and living by every Word of God; we are cut off from him; who then will save us from the flood of tribulation sent by Christ to correct us?

10:4 Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Assyria was a tool in the hands of Jesus Christ to correct physical Israel; and Assyria [Germany] will be one of the tools in the hands of Jesus Christ to correct his wayward flock the Ekklesia who have grown lukewarm for him and the Word of God.

The tribulation is NOT an issue of an evil Germany attacking a good Israel!  Rather as in the past, it is an issue of Germany and her allies being used by Christ to correct his wicked wayward people, both physical and spiritual Israel; for all of their enormous abominations against Jesus Christ and God the Father!

10:5 O Assyrian, the rod of mine [Jesus Christ’s] anger, and the staff in their hand is mine [Jesus Christ’s] indignation.

Assyria was sent to correct a nation of hypocrites in ancient times, and Assyria is being sent by Christ to correct a spiritual Ekklesia of hypocrites at this end time.  We claim to be godly while rejecting any zeal for the Law of God; that makes us hypocrites indeed.

10:6 I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.

Germany does not mean to do this, but Jesus Christ has put it in his heart to do the will of God and correct the spiritual nation of the Ekklesia; that through the affliction of the flesh the spirit might possibly be saved.

10:7 Howbeit he [Assyria] meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart [he has been called by God] to destroy and cut off nations not a few.

In ancient times Assyria took Israel into captivity; some years later it was Babylon which took Judah into captivity.  In this end time tribulation it will be Babylon which will include Assyria in its confederacy which will correct both physical spiritual Israel!

10:8 For he [Assyria] saith, Are not my princes altogether kings? 10:9 Is not Calno [the Assyrian city of Calnah] as Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Samaria as Damascus? 10:10 As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria;

After Assyria corrected Israel in ancient times God brought Assyria down by Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon

In this latter day after Germany and her allies in the New Europe of Babylon the Great have corrected both physical and spiritual Israel and Judah and Jerusalem as the tool of Christ in our time; Babylon [the New Europe] herself shall be corrected for her pride in thinking that they had defeated the Anglo Judeo American power by their own strength; when we were given into their hand  by Jesus Christ.

10:11 Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols? 10:12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.

10:13 For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man: 10:14 And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.

Shall the tool boast against the user?   Shall Assyria and Babylon boast against God? Therefore Babylon and Assyria shall also be corrected by Jesus Christ, and the now repentant spiritual and physical Israel and Judah shall be delivered.

10:15 Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no [as if it lived and was not wood] wood.

10:16 Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he [Jesus Christ]  shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.

After the New Europe goes to war against Asia and the armies are gathered for a final show down at Jerusalem; Messiah the Christ shall come with his resurrected saints and destroy all that resist him at the valley of Hinnom.

Daniel 2:33   His [the New European Babylon] legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. 2:34  Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

The explanation:

Daniel 2:43   And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. 2:44  And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

The Holy One [Jesus Christ] shall came as a flame of fire to destroy all who resist or pollute the righteousness of the LAW of GOD!  Jesus Christ will come with his resurrected chosen and shall destroy both the armies of Asia and the New Europe which are gathered at Jerusalem.

Isaiah 10:17 And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day; 10:18 And shall consume the glory of his forest [symbolic of armies; the trees being men and all the trees together being a forest or army], and of his fruitful field, both soul [spirit, the false religion] and body [the physical government]: and they shall be as when a standard-bearer fainteth [the standard or flag is the symbol of the national government and when the flag falls it is indicative that the government has fallen].

The men of Europe and Asia who survive and remain at Jerusalem shall be so small in number that a child could count them.

10:19 And the rest of the trees [representative of people] of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them [a very small number, almost as if a child could list their names].

10:20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him [serve Babylon and Assyria]  that smote them; but shall stay [bow before, serve and obey] and  upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.

This is after the resurrection of the repentant, zealous and chosen; and in the Kingdom of God when all flesh shall repent and God’s Spirit shall be poured out on all flesh (Joel 2:28).

10:21 The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.

The correction of Christ for spiritual Israel shall result in contrite repentance in tribulation, and the correction of Christ on physical Israel shall turn the people to God;  God’s correction shall bring an overflowing of repentance and righteous zeal for the Holy Commandments of the Father and the Son!

A remnant of physical Israel and Judah shall be left and they SHALL return to the Word of their God!

10:22 For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.

It is Jesus Christ who is the Commander of the armies of God, and who shall bring the correction of great tribulation upon spiritual and physical Israel; with the purpose of humbling them out of their own ways and traditions; and bringing them to repentance and zeal for righteousness, which IS the passionate Learning and Keeping of the whole Word of God!

10:23 For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land.

God speaks to the Ekklesia of this latter day.  Be not afraid but take your correction like men and turn to a passionate zeal to live by every Word of your Mighty God.

This correction is only for a short time and then the redemption of the repentant will be accomp0lished.  Repent and rejoice that your redemption is at hand!

Luke 21:28   And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Isaiah 10:24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.

In a short time [2-3 years] the anger of Christ to correct his elect and physical Israel shall end.

10:25 For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction.

Then Asia shall become a scourge to the New Europe, and the armies of Babylon shall be destroyed like the army of Pharaoh was destroyed.

Daniel 11:44   But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

Isaiah 10:26 And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.

The  yoke of Babylon on physical Israel shall be destroyed by the men of the East and the coming of Messiah.  The yoke of Satan and  sin on the shoulders of lukewarm spiritual Israel shall be destroyed by repentance and the victory of Christ over all the forces of darkness.

10:27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

The armies of the East shall come through Jordan, Turkey and Syria and shall marshal at Har Magiddo for the great battle of the coming of Christ with all his chosen elect.

10:28 He is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he hath laid up his carriages: 10:29 They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is afraid; Gibeah of Saul is fled. 10:30 Lift up thy voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth. 10:31 Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to flee.

10:32 As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand against the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem [which at that time will be occupied by the beast and false prophet].

Daniel 11:45   And he [the beast and false prophet] shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain [after fleeing from Europe before the men of the East to their last remaining redoubt]; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

At this point Jesus Christ will come with his chosen elect to destroy both Babylon and this army from the East and establish himself as King of kings over all the earth setting up the Kingdom of God.

Christ shall fill the rebellious with the fear and terror of the might of God, and will humble and crush the pride of the haughty to contrition.

Isaiah 10:33 Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled. 10:34 And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron [Christ will destroy the companies of armies], and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one.

Isaiah 11

A prophecy of Jesus Christ regarding his coming in the flesh as the Passover sacrifice of the Lamb of God, and also a prophecy regarding the coming of Christ as King of kings to rule the nations in equity, justice and the righteousness of every Word of God the Father.

Jesse is likened to  the root and stem [trunk] of a tree; and his descendants are likened to the branches; and the Messiah is The Branch of Jesse that will save the world!

Joshua the priest was a type of Jesus Christ who became sin for humanity and bore the sins of the world.  Christ shall build the spiritual temple of God the Father which building began with Able six thousand years ago and will be completed at the end of the millennium.  Christ shall also build the physical millennial Temple in Jerusalem; and he shall rule all nations as King of kings over all the earth!

Zechariah 6:11   Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest;

Joshua is called a type of the Branch [of Jesse], and he will be a High Priest of the Father forever, after the order of Melchesidek.  He will build the temple of the Father and rule all nations bringing the PEACE of the Law of God.  More on this later.

6:12  And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the Lord:

6:13  Even he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

Isaiah  11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD [respect and love for the Father in heaven]; 11:3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: 11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. 11:5 And righteousness [commandment keeping] shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness [absolute unshakable loyalty to the God Father in heaven] the girdle of his reins.

When the Holy Spirit is poured out on all flesh after the day of the Lord, peace shall reign over all the earth including even the beasts.

11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 11:8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.

11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Jesse is likened to  the root and stem of a tree; and his descendants are likened to the branches. The Branch shall rule over and save all humanity and the Gentiles shall be grafted into spiritual Israel; and the millennial Sabbath rest of the Kingdom of God shall be glorious.

As the people rally around and follow a national banner, all the peoples of the earth shall rally around and follow Adonai Nissi.

Adonai Nissi is a name for God found in Exodus 17:8-16, translated “the Lord is my banner.”  When Moses lifted his arms to the Eternal, his troops are victorious and when he lowered his arms, his troops are defeated.  This demonstrates that when God is our focus and we zealously live by every Word of God.  He will deliver us; and when we lose our focus on the Word of God and lean to our own ways we shall falter and be overcome by the Pharaoh of this world.

As Jesse was a root of Christ, Jesus Christ as the very Creator was the root of Jesse!

11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

This next verse shows that Christ returned Israel and Judah from their captivity once and will save them a second time after their final tribulation captivity.  Bringing them back to Palestine from all the places to which they will be scattered.

11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

The brotherhood of Judah and Israel shall be restored

11:13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.

When Christ comes, Judah and Israel shall be gathered together to Palestine and they shall spoil those who spoiled them under the banner of Jesus Christ the King of kings and under the banner of David king of a once again united Israel.

Even after the tribulation many millions of Israel [the British people, America, Scandinavia, the Low Countries and Judah] will still be left, and they will remain in their latter day lands while a representative number will return to Palestine.

Jordan, Gaza, Syria, Lebanon and Turkey shall serve Israel, and all of Palestine shall be given to Israel

11:14 But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.

Jesus Christ will clear the way and open the highways for Israel to pass again into the land promised to Isaac.

11:15 And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod. 11:16 And there shall be an highway [Messiah will lead Israel with a high hand as he led Israel out of Egypt after the Passover]  for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

Isaiah 12

Israel and all nations; shall turn to God in deep wholehearted repentance to seek him out; and will rejoice in their deliverance, praising him.

Isaiah 12:1 And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH [YHVH] is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation [quoting the Song of  Moses].

The repentant nations shall receive the waters of life [the Holy Spirit] with great joy and shall learn of Christ and keep all his teachings, ways, will and commandments, living by every Word of God and completely internalizing the very nature of God.

No more will men exalt their own ways or false gods and other human beings above the Eternal and the Word of God!

12:3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. 12:4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. 12:5 Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. 12:6 Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

Isaiah 13

The Day of the Lord and the final destruction of the end time Babylon assembly of nations.

Isaiah 13:1 The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.

At the resurrection when they see the two prophets ascend up into heaven with tens of thousands of the saints rising from their graves many will repent, and when Christ comes WITH his resurrected chosen those Jews still in Judea shall rise up to fight Babylon in the great battle of the day of the Lord.

Zechariah 14:13   And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor. 14:14  And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.

Zechariah 14:2   For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Zechariah 14:15  And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.

14:16  And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Jesus Christ the Banner of Righteousness!

He is the banner of the saints; Adonai Nissi [the Lord our banner] is his name; and his chosen saints shall come with him, to fight alongside Messiah and then rule the nations with the Mighty One who saves the repentant who are zealous for every Word of God the Father!

Isaiah 13:2 Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

Christ commands his faithful to the battle

13:3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger [against Babylon], even them that rejoice in my highness.

Revelation 19:11   And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  19:12  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 19:13  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 19:15 And out of his mouth [by his command] goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.

The beast and final false prophet have taken refuge in Jerusalem and marshaled their armies at Jerusalem to battle against the armies of Asia.  Then shall our Deliverer come with his saints and call all the repentant to himself; and they shall rejoice in the victory and the appearance of the Messiah the KING!

The great battle of the coming of the Lord

Isaiah 13:4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. 13:5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

13:6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

The fierce anger of Jesus Christ will be poured out on the Babylon Mysteries [all who refuse to live by every Word of God] and all those who rebel against zeal for the righteous commandments, laws, statutes, judgments, and teachings of Almighty God.

13:7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt: 13:8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

The unrepentant wicked shall be destroyed from off the earth by the establishment of the Kingdom of God!  Yes, even the lukewarm of the church of God will perish, unless they repent!

13:9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

The earth will be plunged into darkness as a major sign that the day of Christ’s coming is at hand.

13:10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

You in the church that are proud of your own ways and traditions: HEAR the WORD of our KING:

13:11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

Men will become rare and precious for their rarity on the earth and there will be seven women for one man.

13:12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

The earth shall shake with great and terrible earthquakes and the earth itself being moved, might include the restoration of the original created 360 day year with 12 equal 30 day months cycles which changed in the eighth century B.C.

13:13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

People will flee in panic for their lives and will not stop to pick up anything.

13:14 And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.

Every one of the enemy of righteousness who will not repent shall be destroyed!

13:15 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. 13:16 Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.

The war between Babylon of Europe and the nations of the North and East; leads to the coming of Messiah.

When Babylon attacks to the North and East in her third year, the nations of the North and the East shall rise up and rush like a great river against Babylon, destroying Europe and then turning South to Jerusalem where the ruler and false prophet have fled to join their remaining armies.

13:17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes [Ukrainians and Russians] against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it. 13:18 Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eyes shall not spare children.

The head of Babylon is ROME.  Because men have called it the eternal city; it shall be totally destroyed and brought to non-existence.

13:19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees’ excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. 13:20 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there. 13:21 But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there. 13:22 And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.

Isaiah 14

The Palestinians, Gazans, Jordanians, Syrians and others who remain in the land will become the servants of Israel.  Then the dispersed tribes of Israel will again be united with Judah and many will be brought back to their land in Palestine.

Isaiah 14:1 For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.

The people that remain in the land shall set a united Israel in the land, and submit to them accepting their overlordship.

14:2 And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors. 14:3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,

Babylon shall be destroyed; both the spiritual Babylon Mysteries and the physical Babylonian confederation of European nations.

14:4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon [this is the beast and is a type of Satan], and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!

Christ will break the rule of the beast over Babylon and the rule of Satan over all the earth.

14:5 The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers. 14:6 He [Satan] who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.

The whole earth will be delivered from Satan the Pharaoh of this world and his captivity to sin.  All humanity shall find peace and shall break forth in great rejoicings, just as all Israel rejoiced after coming up out of the Red Sea of death as the sixth day of Unleavened Bread ended and the Holy Feast Day began; as a type or the millennial Sabbath of rest which will begin with the coming of Messiah!

As the resurrected chosen sing the Song of Moses in heaven before the throne of God; so all nations shall rejoice and sing of their deliverance by Messiah the Christ!

Revelation 15:2   And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Isaiah 14:7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.

The trees are representative of men and they declare that no violence is done to them since Messiah and his elect have taken lordship over the earth.

14:8 Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.

Babylon the Great of the rising New Federal Europe shall perish

14:9 Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. 14:10 All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us? 14:11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm [maggots] is spread under thee, and the worms [maggots] cover thee.

Because Lucifer sought to steal the throne of God the Father in heaven; he is cast down and called the Adversary [Satan].

Satan is to be restrained for one thousand years and soon after that he will be cast into death

14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

The whole Babylonian System, the physical ruler of Babylon the New Federal Europe, and the spiritual king of Babylon [Satan] shall be brought down to destruction.

14:16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; 14:17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? 14:18 All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.

The beast and final false prophet shall be thrown alive into the fire of Ghenna; as an example of the final fate of the ultimate spiritual king of spiritual Babylon Satan the Adversary.

14:19 But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet. 14:20 Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.

Physical and spiritual Babylon [the Mystery Religion which began at Babel] are to be totally destroyed.

14:21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

Jesus Christ will cut off the Babylonian Mysteries and every aspect and shadow or facet of its iniquitous practices.

14:22 For I will rise up against them, saith the LORD of hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, saith the LORD.

That abominable city of Babylon – the Vatican – shall be totally destroyed never to rise again!

14:23 I will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith the LORD of hosts. 14:24 The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:

The armies of Babylon including the modern Assyrian [Germany, Austria and Hungary] army shall be broken at Jerusalem.

14:25 That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.

Jesus Christ has proposed to destroy the armies of Assyria and Babylon at Jerusalem and to utterly destroy that abominable city, the Vatican; forever.

14:26 This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations. 14:27 For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back? 14:28 In the year that king Ahaz died was this burden.

The fate of the Palestinians; who rejoice at the fall of Judah at the beginning of the tribulation.

14:29 Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina [Palestinians], because the rod of him [Judah] that smote thee is broken: [broken by the Babylon of the New Federal Europe; for the armies of the North and East shall destroy you, and the nations in their path like the remnant of Syria, Turkey and Jordan] for out of the serpent’s root shall come forth a cockatrice [the armies of the North and the East], and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.

When the new Europe of Babylon defeats Judah, the Palestinians will spoil Judea along with the nations of Psalm 83; then God will bring the armies of the Asian nations down upon them and they shall be overwhelmed and destroyed by the armies of the North and the East.

Then Messiah shall come and destroy all the destroyers of Babylon and the nations from the North and east at Jerusalem.

After Messiah comes the captives of Israel and Judah shall feed in peace and lie down in security because the nations that plagued them shall be brought low, and all those left among them shall repent and serve Israel because of their abuse for her.

14:30 And the firstborn of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety: and I will kill thy root with famine, and he shall slay thy remnant.

The Asian armies in their campaign to destroy the New Europe in response to Europe’s attack upon them; shall also destroy the nations that are allied with the new Europe.  These include Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and the Palestinians as well as the various Arab  peoples (Psalm 83).

14:31 Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina [the Palestinians], art dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times.

14:32 What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation?

The Eternal God is jealous for his people, physical and spiritual Israel and will deliver them quickly after they repent of apostatizing away from HIM!

That the LORD hath founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it [Trust in HIM: Christ].

Isaiah 15

Woe, Woe, Woe to Jordan

The armies from the East and North will sweep over northern Jordan [Moab].

Isaiah 15:1 The burden of Moab. Because in the night Ar of Moab is laid waste, and brought to silence; because in the night Kir of Moab is laid waste, and brought to silence; 15:2 He is gone up to Bajith, and to Dibon, the high places, to weep: Moab shall howl over Nebo, and over Medeba: on all their heads shall be baldness, and every beard cut off. 15:3 In their streets they shall gird themselves with sackcloth: on the tops of their houses, and in their streets, every one shall howl, weeping abundantly. 15:4 And Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh: their voice shall be heard even unto Jahaz: therefore the armed soldiers of Moab shall cry out; his life shall be grievous unto him.

Moab shall flee in confusion like a heifer starving for grass; for the armies of the North and East shall eat up the produce of the land like locusts.

15:5 My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall flee unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction.

The Asian armies shall take all the produce and water in the land for their numbers, and the difficulties of bringing supplies from Asia.

15:6 For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate: for the hay is withered away, the grass faileth, there is no green thing. 15:7 Therefore the abundance they have gotten, and that which they have laid up, shall they carry away to the brook of the willows.15:8 For the cry is gone round about the borders of Moab; the howling thereof unto Eglaim, and the howling thereof unto Beerelim.

The waters that are not taken shall be polluted with the enormous numbers of dead, and those that escape shall be chased by the young lions of the armies of Asia.

15:9 For the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more upon Dimon, lions upon him that escapeth of Moab, and upon the remnant of the land.

Isaiah 16

Jordan shall repent after being destroyed and will be brought down to become a very small people; then they shall seek unto the Lamb of God the Messiah when he comes.

Isaiah 16:1 Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter [latter day descendants of] of Zion.

The latter day descendants of Moab shall have no place to rest when the men of the East come through their land.

16:2 For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.

Moab is asked by Christ to hide those cast out for their zeal for God in a place prepared of God for his zealous faithful: A place of refuge from the storm of tribulation.

16:3 Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth. 16:4 Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for [until] the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.

Messiah the Lamb of God shall be established as King of kings and his rule shall be established by his justice, truth, mercy and the righteousness of every Word of God.

16:5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.

Moab is very proud and like all the proud shall be humbled.

16:6 We have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud: even of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so.

Moab shall be afflicted for his pride, as the leaders of today’s spiritual Ekklesia will be afflicted for their pride; for God is just and no respecter of persons.

16:7 Therefore shall Moab howl for Moab, every one shall howl: for the foundations of Kirhareseth shall ye mourn; surely they are stricken.

The men of the North and the East shall despoil Moab.

16:8 For the fields of Heshbon languish, and the vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down the principal plants thereof, they are come even unto Jazer, they wandered through the wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are gone over the sea. 16:9 Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy harvest is fallen.

16:10 And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in their presses; I have made their vintage shouting to cease. 16:11 Wherefore my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kirharesh.

Moab shall pray and shall not be delivered.

16:12 And it shall come to pass, when it is seen that Moab is weary on the high place, that he shall come to his sanctuary to pray; but he shall not prevail.

16:13 This is the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning Moab since that time.

Because Moab rejoiced over the destruction of Judah; she herself shall be destroyed by the end of three complete years.

16:14 But now the LORD hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of an hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be contemned, with all that great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and feeble.

Isaiah 17

The end of Syria and Damascus

Syria shall survive this present situation, although in a greatly weakened state; then Syria shall rejoice at the fall of Judah, and will become an ally of the king of the north.  Then in the third year of the abomination the men of the North and the East shall flow over Syria in their response to the attack on them by the Babylon of the New Europe.

As the Asian armies destroy Jordan and the Palestinians they shall also destroy Damascus and Syria.

Isaiah 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

In the Kingdom of God the desolated villages and countryside of Syria shall be pasturage for flocks.

17:2 The cities [villages] of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

Israel and Syria shall be corrected

Deuteronomy 26:5   And thou shalt speak and say before the Lord thy God, A Syrian ready to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:

Isaiah 17:3 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts.

The glory of Jacob being Judah and Israel, they shall be defeated and very few shall remain.

17:4 And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean. 17:5 And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn [grain], and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim.

Yet, some of Judah and Israel and of Syria and the surrounding nations shall be left alive; and shall repent and look to their Creator.

A few men shall be left like the remains of the harvest left in a field for gleaning.

17:6 Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God of Israel. 17:7 At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.

As the Called Out will repent of looking to their own idols and false teachings during the tribulation; all humanity will likewise repent at the coming of Messiah with all his chosen.

The residue of Damascus and Syria shall repent and turn to live by every Word of God when their land has been destroyed.  What is happening now is only a minor foretaste of what will happen when the New Europe goes to war against Asia.

17:8 And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images. 17:9 In that day shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children of Israel: and there shall be desolation.

Speaking of all heresies;  God is NO respecter of persons, and all those who set up false [strange] religions and idols will see their false ways destroyed by the Almighty.

Indeed the correction of those who are the Called Out and are supposed to know better will be very severe.

17:10 Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips:  17:11 In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.

We shall be corrected by a righteously angry and just LORD for all our sins, and so will all  the nations of the earth; to humble us and bring us to repentance for forgetting the Word of our God and for doing what is right in our own eyes.

17:12 Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters! 17:13 The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.

Babylon which enticed us into her sins, will be used to correct us; and Babylon shall then be destroyed by the coming of Christ for all her great wickedness .

17:14 And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.

Isaiah 18

The tribulation will crush the pride of all humanity around the world; there is NO place of refuge except in zeal for all the teachings, ways, will and commandments of our espoused Husband, who is Lord of lords and King of kings; the Mighty Deliverer of all those who in sincere repentance wholeheartedly seek him.  His First Great Commandment is to “Live by Every Word of God”!

Matthew 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  22:38 This is the first and great commandment.

And if we truly loved God we would please him and live by His Word (Deu 5:32, Deu 17:20, Deu 28:14)!

Even the nations far south of Ethiopia will be corrected and will  repent.

Isaiah 18:1 Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia:

Repentant peoples from across the world will send ambassadors with gifts and pledges of fealty to the King of kings at Jerusalem.

When the lands far distant to the South beyond Ethiopia, shall be corrected and repent, they  shall send ambassadors to the returned remnant of Judah and Israel and to the King of kings when he comes!

18:2 That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation [Judah and Israel and Jerusalem] scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers [of armies] have spoiled!

Let all the earth rally to Adonai Nissi; the Lord our Banner of Salvation!

Let all peoples of the earth hear him and cleave to him and the righteousness of every Word of God!  Let the millennial Sabbath of rest be pleasant and filled with the peace of faithful zeal for all the ways of God!

Why does today’s greater spiritual Ekklesia not have God’s peace among them?  Is it not because they are far from God, and because they have turned away from zeal for the Word of God towards a zeal for men and false traditions?

The only way to true spiritual unity is to be fully united in the Spirit of God and the sound doctrine of Jesus Christ. To t9lerare false teachings which lead people away from God the Father and Jesus Christ; for the sake of some so unity; is the height of spiritual division from God and is  ignorance and foolishness.

In fact it is worse than that:  It is an outright LIE to say that spiritual unity actually means physical unity between men, instead of spiritual unity with Jesus Christ and God the Father!

Yes, you read correctly; I am calling out the false teachers who LIE and distort definitions of phrases, to claim that tolerating false teachings and disunity with Holy Scripture, is some kind of spiritual unity.  What a disgusting abomination, as these wicked men use the name of God and Christ to try and lead people away from zeal for the doctrines [teachings] and law of Almighty God!

Such men will be corrected in great tribulation along with all the dwellers of the earth.  After the tribulation when all men are repentant, they shall look to the banner of righteousness of the learning and keeping of all the doctrines [teachings] and Word of God our Father in heaven and his Mighty One who will establish his throne in Jerusalem!

18:3 All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.

After he has destroyed wickedness and rebellion out of the earth; the rule of the Messiah shall be pleasant and a sweet perfume of peace.

18:4 For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.

The earth shall be pruned in the tribulation so that it bring forth much fruit during the millennial Sabbath of peace.

18:5 For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches. 18:6 They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.

When Christ comes with his resurrected chosen to rule; Israel and Judah shall be gathered unto him in their ancient land.

18:7 In that time shall the present be brought unto the LORD of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, [Israel and Judah]  whose land the rivers [of armies] have spoiled, to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion.

Isaiah 19

The end of Egypt

Egypt will remain in the US – Jewish Sate alliance, until the king of the north – the coming New Federal Europe – takes Egypt under his control.

Isaiah 19:1 The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud [to correct Egypt and bring them to repentance], and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt [the courage of the Egyptians shall flee away leaving them at the mercy of the New Europe, just as the heart of Egypt melted at the coming of Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon] shall melt in the midst of it.

The beast emperor shall control the key areas of Egypt and take her revenues [from the canal and the gas fields] for himself;  and the Egyptians shall fight among themselves for the necessities of life.

19:2 And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.

The courage, pride and wisdom of Egypt shall fail, and they shall seek unto their magicians and traditions, and they shall fail to deliver the Egyptians.

19:3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.

The king of the north [the New Europe] shall overcome Egypt and rule over them.  The precious things of Egypt are the Suez Canal, the energy corridors from South Sudan and Darfur and Egyptian natural gas.

Daniel 11:42    He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 11:43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt:

The ruler of the New Europe will treat the Egyptians brutally.

Isaiah 19:4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.

The river Nile and its branches that water Egypt were dried up, possibly by lack of rain to the south; when Babylon came down against Egypt and this may well happen again in our time.  A lack of rain drying up the Nile is an indication that all of lower and central Africa shall also suffer greatly from lack of water.

19:5 And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up. 19:6 And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither. 19:7 The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.

19:8 The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish. 19:9 Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded. 19:10 And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices and ponds for fish.

Isaiah mocks the magicians and wise men of Egypt, just as Elijah mocked the prophets of Baal.

19:11 Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings? 19:12 Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt. 19:13 The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof.

Christ confuses the counsels of the wicked who trust in false gods and the wisdom of the wicked.

Yes absolutely; Jesus Christ is the author of division among his enemies

Jesus Christ is at this very moment confusing the counsels of many of the corporate idols of the called out spiritual Ekklesia today;  who stand on their false traditions of men, tolerate and stand on false doctrines [teachings] and reject any zeal to live by every Word of God.

19:14 The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit. 19:15 Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.

By the time Christ comes and the earth shakes at his coming; the pride and wisdom of Egypt [and all humanity as well] shall be totally destroyed, and each one that has survived shall be terrified for their personal safety.

19:16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.

When Christ comes with his saints, the Egyptians shall repent and shall fear Judah; because of the presence of the Mighty One of Jacob [Israel] at Jerusalem.

19:17 And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.

The five cities of Gaza and vicinity which are the Philistines; shall repent and vow allegiance to the Messiah the Lord of Hosts.

19:18 In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.

When Messiah rules in Jerusalem, the Egyptians shall repent and turn to him.  They shall exalt the Mighty One, Saviour of all  humanity.

19:19 In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD. 19:20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.

19:21 And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow [of repentance and baptism to be espoused to the Deliverer of humanity] unto the LORD, and perform it.

After Egypt has been humbled in tribulation, they will turn to Christ in sincere repentance, and Christ will heal them spiritually and physically; just like Israel, Judah and all the rest of humanity will repent and turn to the KING of kings and the HIGH PRIEST of Salvation!

19:22 And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.

There will be a highway from Egypt to Jerusalem and from Assyria to Jerusalem and the Egyptians and Assyrians shall serve the Lord of Hosts!

The Egyptians and the Assyrians shall be at peace after they repent to diligently learn and live by every Word of God.  And they shall travel to visit the millennial temple at Jerusalem.

19:23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve [God] with the Assyrians.

In the Kingdom of God, Jesus Christ will bless the whole of the twelve tribes of Israel, the Egyptians and the Germanic peoples [Assyrians] with peace between them and they shall all repent and serve the Eternal with all their beings!

The great tribulation will be a terrible affliction, yet it will bring the repentance and saving of the Spiritual Israel of the lukewarm and apostate church of God; and it will bring all nations to repentance and peace; and open the way to the salvation of all humanity living at that time; by humbling them before God and making them repentant and teachable in the Sound Doctrine of the Holy Scriptures.

19:24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: 19:25 Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

Isaiah 20

The date this prophecy was given was the year in which Ashdod fell to Assyria

Isaiah 20:1 In the year that [Field Marshal] Tartan came unto Ashdod, (when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him,) and fought against Ashdod, and took it;

The prophecy against Egypt continues.

20:2 At the same time spake the LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.

20:3 And the LORD said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia; 20:4 So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt. 20:5 And they shall be afraid and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory.

The nations shall say: “Where can we flee from Assyria [as part of Babylon the Great of the New Europe], there is no escape”

Revelation 13:3   And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed [the New Europe of Babylon shall rise up]: and all the world wondered after the beast. 13:4  And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

13:5  And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 13:6  And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven [through the false doctrines of the final false prophet; who teaches to follow his ways contrary to the ways of God as the church is now teachings].

13:7  And it was given unto him to make war with the [the lukewarm Called Out who lack zeal for the teachings and commandments of Christ]  saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Isaiah 20:6 And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape?

Isaiah 21

A prophecy of the desert peoples and how the men of the North and the East shall destroy them for their alliance with Babylon the Great [the New Europe]

Isaiah 21:1 The burden of the desert of the sea [the sea of sand, the desert land]. As whirlwinds in the south pass through; so it cometh from the desert, from a terrible land.

As these desert dwellers of Arabia, Syria and  Jordan have made themselves an alliance with the king of the north (Psalm 83), and have rejoiced at the correction of Judah and Israel; Christ shall bring the armies of the North and the East against them.

21:2 A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam [the Slavic nations]: besiege, O Media [Ukraine]; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.

These nations will be accompanied by Russia and various Asian powers.

21:3 Therefore are my loins filled with pain: pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that travaileth: I was bowed down at the hearing of it; I was dismayed at the seeing of it. 21:4 My heart panted, fearfulness affrighted me: the night of my pleasure hath he turned into fear unto me.

Prepare for war you Syrians, Turks, Jordanians and Arabs; for when the New Federal Europe has attacked Asia, they will come in fury against the New Europe and all her allies.

21:5 Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower, eat, drink: arise, ye princes, and anoint the shield. 21:6 For thus hath the LORD said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth.

The Watchman of God sees the Lion of War ; and the fall of Babylon the Great by the nations of the North and the East, who are responding to the attack of the New Europe.  They shall destroy the European Babylon and will then turn south towards Jerusalem to have a final battle with the false prophet and beast who have moved to the city of Jerusalem as their final redoubt.

The New Federal Europe will fall and war will come to her allies Turkey, Syria, Jordan and the Arabians (Psalm 83).

21:7 And he saw a chariot with a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses, and a chariot of camels; and he hearkened diligently with much heed: 21:8 And he cried, A lion: My lord, I stand continually upon the watchtower in the daytime, and I am set in my ward whole nights: 21:9 And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen.

The watchman of God gives the warning.

And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground. 21:10 O my threshing, and the corn [grain] of my floor: that which I have heard of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.

The prophecy of Arabia.

Dumah was the sixth son of Ishmael and is mentioned in Genesis (25:14 and 1 Chron 1:30).

Tayma (Arabic: تيماء‎; also transliterated Tema) is a large oasis with a long history of settlement, located in northwestern Saudi Arabia at the point where the trade route between Yathrib (Medina) and Dumah (al-Jawf) begins to cross the Nefud desert

Dumah asks the Watchman:

21:11 The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir [Turkey]  Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night? 21:12 The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will enquire, enquire ye: return, come.

21:13 The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge, O ye travelling companies of Dedanim.

21:14 The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty, they prevented [saved those who had fled] with their bread him that fled.

21:15 For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war.

Kedar was the second son of Ishmael and the tribes of the Kedarites (Genesis 25:13).

When the Asian armies enter Turkey, Syria and Jordan, closing the noose on the last redoubt of the beast and false prophet at Jerusalem; the Arabians shall be brought low within a year for they are also allied with the Babylon of the New Europe.  See Psalm 83 Ishmaelite’s and  Hagarenes.

This whole final phase of the tribulation when the war between the beast and Asia takes place seems to last about a year; for Christ said that he would begin to revive his people in the third day [year];

Hosea 6:1   Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 6:2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

Isaiah 21:16 For thus hath the LORD said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of an hireling, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail: 21:17 And the residue of the number of archers, the mighty men of the children of Kedar, shall be diminished: for the LORD God of Israel hath spoken it.

Isaiah 22

This prophecy against Judah, Jerusalem and Hezekiah happened in history, beginning in 2 Kings 18:13 and also in Isaiah 36.

This was a minor fore-type of the great tribulation of the latter days; when the city of Jerusalem will be taken and trodden under foot for 42 months (Rev 11:2).

Historically the Assyrians took the cities of Judah except for Jerusalem during the reign of Hezekiah.

Isaiah 22:1 The burden of the valley of vision. What aileth thee now, that thou art wholly gone up to the housetops? 22:2 Thou that art full of stirs, a tumultuous city, joyous city: thy slain men are not slain with the sword, nor dead in battle. 22:3 All thy rulers are fled together, they are bound by the archers: all that are found in thee are bound together, which have fled from far.

The prophecy is also for the end time

22:4 Therefore said I, Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, labour not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter [latter day descendants of] of my people.

This speaks of the tribulation and the day of the Lord

22:5 For it is a day of trouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity by the Lord GOD of hosts in the valley of vision, breaking down the walls, and of crying to the mountains [governments].

The Slavs and Asian nations shall come up against the Assyrians and their allies of Babylon [the New Europe]  who will occupy Jerusalem in the last days.

22:6 And Elam [the Slavic countries allied with the Asian nations] bare the quiver with chariots of men and horsemen, and Kir [the stronghold of Moab representing the strength of modern Jordan] uncovered [took up the shields to try and defend himself] the shield.

The Assyrians filled the land as they came up against Jerusalem in the day’s of Hezekiah.  In our time they and the New Europe shall occupy Jerusalem for 42 months at the end of the age; and the Slavic and Asian nations shall come up against them and will flood through Syria, Jordan and the Arab nations.

22:7 And it shall come to pass, that thy choicest valleys shall be full of chariots [war machines], and the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate.

In Hezekiah’s time Assyria came up to correct Jerusalem and the king, but did not enter the city because of king Hezekiah; In this end time they shall enter and occupy the city of Jerusalem for 42 months.

Revelation 11:2 . . . .  and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

Isaiah 22:8 And he discovered the covering of Judah, and thou didst look in that day to the armour of the house of the forest. 22:9 Ye have seen also the breaches of the city of David, that they are many: and ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool. 22:10 And ye have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses have ye broken down to fortify the wall. 22:11 Ye made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool [the famous Hezekiah’s tunnel]: but ye have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago.

In ancient times Hezekiah and the people repented and trusted in their God to deliver them and their sorrows were turned to joy by the power of the Might One of Abraham.

Now God is calling the people to repentance before the tribulation and the Day of the Lord and the people will not repent as Hezekiah did.

Now Isaiah speaks of the tribulation and the end of the age.  God calls to repentance and the people reject his call, preferring to party with mocking words.

This is a reference to today’s spiritual Ekklesia who are full of pride and reject living by every Word of God to exalt their idols of men, as well as to the general population.

22:12 And in that day did the Lord GOD of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth: 22:13 And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: [refusing to repent and mockingly declaring] let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die. 22:14 And it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of hosts, Surely this iniquity [of refusing to repent and turn to God for deliverance] shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

God then said:  Go warn the leaders of the people that they shall be carried away captive and the unrepentant shall surely die.

22:15 Thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, Go, get thee unto this treasurer, even unto Shebna, which is over the house, and say, 22:16 What hast thou here? and whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock?

22:17 Behold, the LORD will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee. 22:18 He [the corrector sent from Christ] will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord’s house.

22:19 And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull [destroy the false and wicked leaders] thee down.

The prophecy of Eliakim will become clearer as we progress through the book.  He appears to be a type of Christ and David, who will replace the physical rulers of the nations at their coming

22:20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah: 22:21 And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.

22:22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

The nail in a sure place appears to be a dual representation of the promises of the physical kingdom to the descendants of David, and its removal pictures the changing of the physical kingdom to the Kingdom of God with Jesus Christ ruling all nations, and a spirit David, ruling a united Israel in place of his descendants.

22:23 And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house. 22:24 And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.

In the day of the coming of Christ, the physical kings shall be removed and replaced with the King of kings and his kings and priests.  This is pictured by the nail of the rulers of Israel being removed; and replaced by the spirit king David and his King, Jesus Christ.

22:25 In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD hath spoken it.
