How to Avoid or Treat, Colds and Flu

SPECIAL MUSIC: Zealous Over Zion. This piece has a long Mideast style intro, the lyrics are in English and Hebrew.

The Influenza Epidemic

The USA is in an official flu pandemic panic right now, with Boston declaring a public health emergency and hospitals setting up flu treatment tents as if cities were war zones. The CDC says it’s the worst flu pandemic in a decade, and it’s of course urging everybody to get injected with flu vaccines.

In fact flue immunizations are notoriously innefective and are  filled with immunosupressants that actually prevent the body from fighting of the flue.

What’s in flu shots? Aluminum, mercury, MSG and formaldehyde

The CDC openly admits that vaccines contain a toxic cocktail and metals and synthetic chemicals that we all know cause neurological damage. Those include aluminum and mercury.

These metals and chemicals also suppress the immune system, and that’s the primary cause of colds and flues.

Influenza and  colds are generally caused by a weakened immune system resulting from a lack of exposure to Vitamin D forming sunlight.  That is why flue is generally endemic in the northern and southern areas of the planet and not near the equator.

To prevent flue; avoid flue immunizations which are not effective and actually break down the body’s defense systems; avoid crowds when possible; and take Vitamin D suppliments from about September to April.

If you do get ill add a substantial amount of natural Vitamin C from fresh home squeezed oranges or other citrus [remember that heat destroys vitamin C, so most commercially processed foods containing added vitamin C are useless]; take home made chicken stock with bell peppers and other high vitamin vegetables added just when the stock is beginning to cool; and make sure to air out the sick room several times a day to get rid of those germs multiplying in a warm environment.

Real solutions to the flu

If you really want to stay healthy this flu season, the answer is pretty simple. It all starts with the top three nutrients for flu prevention:

1) Vitamin D
2) More vitamin D
3) And yet more vitamin D

If you’re not taking at least 5,000 IUs of vitamin D each day during the winter flu season, you’re probably vitamin D deficient and that’s making you a sitting duck for influenza.

In addition to vitamin D,  a balanced diet of quality foods, a mineral suppliment including like zinc, and some vitamin C in the diet will be very helpful.

Nearly all vitamin D is made by exposing lanolin from sheep’s wool with ultraviolet light, so there should be no kosher issues.

I’d like to comment on your article on your outreach web site, with the hope that this can help others. You are right in saying that vitamin D reduces the risk of flu. But one has to distinguish between vitamin D2 and vitamin D3. Here is a link that explains some differences between the two. “Vitamin D Can Make or Break Your Health, So Get the Right Kind!” (

For a good source of vitamin D and to avoid the flu, I would recommend drinking regularly 100% grass-fed raw milk. That is what my wife and I have been giving to our 4 year old child, and she never had the flu, except once when she was about one year old and not on raw milk yet. Drinking 100% grass-fed raw milk is safe and it provides enormous benefits, especially for a child who needs to build his/her immune system. Here are some facts about it at

I believe people have to be educated in eating more raw food, and less pills and supplements that went through industrial processing.

FYI raw milk sale to the public or use [even “certified”] is now illegal in most US states.

Raw milk also contains lipase which digests fats and inhances the immune system. Lipase is destroyed by pasteurization which is one reason for mass obesity in America.
