American plans to destroy the IS Caliphate will effectively dismember Iraq. The Iraqi state will devolve into three quasi independent autonomous states under a weak federal government umbrella
US Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in Baghdad today to finalize political and war plans before presenting them to assembled Islamic foreign ministers in Saudi Arabia. Kerry flew to Baghdad from Jordan, the first stop on his tour, which will also include Saudi Arabia and probably other Arab capitals.
Iraq will have the “critical role” of the ground operations inside Iraq, in the effort to “degrade and ultimately defeat the ISIS,” a senior State Department official told reporters traveling with Kerry, “and that will be the main focus of his talks.”
“The people [the Sunni Tribes] of Anbar will take on ISIL,” the State Department official added, using an alternative name for ISIS.
“The people of Nineveh [Kurds] will take on ISIL in Nineveh [Kurdistan], and they will have assistance from the national army when they need it.”
The plan involves intensive foreign bombing of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, along with a foreign special forces led Sunni uprising against the Islamic State.
For this, the new Iraqi government will grant regional autonomy to the Kurds and Sunni tribes and set up legal Sunni and Kurdish National Guards.
In future these soldiers will formally be part of Iraq’s security structure and would be trained on Iraqi military bases. Reporting to local governors, they would also receive salaries and pensions from the government.
In other words, each area would be semi independent with its own fighting and security forces constituted with its own people, and sponsored by the central government, tasked with providing security in its own area.
This deal is in exchange for them destroying the Islamic State. In an echo of the Sunni Awakening, in which Iraqi tribes made common cause with American forces to fight Al Qaeda in Iraq.
The plan for Syria is similarly along the lines of heavy bombings followed by operations from insurgents and indigenous people after the Islamic Extremist fighters are softened up by the bombings.
John Kerry in his Bagdad press conference also envisioned a worldwide resurgence of moderate Islam and the end of Extremism in the name of Islam.
This plan for Islam is being coordinated with many Islamic leaders, the Vatican and certain Rabbinic Jewish leaders including former president and 33rd degree mason Peres; in a push for an organization of world religions to accept the Pope as the world’s ultimate moral authority.
President Obama is to present his plan to destroy Islamic Extremism to the world this evening, and to call for the whole world to join him in destroying Islamic Extremism and pushing to use moderate religion as a force for peace at the Sep 16 UN General Assembly.
The 69th Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 69) will convene at UN Headquarters on Tuesday, 16 September 2014. The General Debate will open on Wednesday, 24 September 2014.
Obama and the Western Establishment are expected to marshal world support for the destruction of extremism in the name of religion.
Which will have as its end result the exalting of moderate religion, to be led by the Papacy and Vatican, as a force for peace in the world.
Last Thursday, Pope Francis and former Israeli President Shimon Peres met for an extended 45 minute private conversation. The focus of this discussion was a proposal by Peres to establish a “United Nations of Religions”. It was the third meeting between the two men in a little more than four months.
According to the Jerusalem Post the pope believes that such a body would have the best chance of preventing war and violence in the world…
In an interview with the Catholic Magazine Famiglia Cristiana, Peres called on Francis to leverage his respect to create an interfaith organization to curb religious violence.
“What we need is an organization of United Religions… as the best way to combat terrorists who kill in the name of faith,” Peres said. “What we need is an unquestionable moral authority who says out loud, ‘No, God does not want this and does not allow it.’”
The truth is that such an organization would fit in very well with what the Pope has been trying to do his entire tenure. He has been doing just about all that he can to “build bridges” to other religions.
For example, earlier this year the Pope authorized “Islamic prayers and readings from the Quran” at the Vatican for the first time ever…
For the first time in history, Islamic prayers and readings from the Quran will be heard at the Vatican on Sunday, in a move by Pope Francis to gain the position of the world’s foremost moral authority by ushering in peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
Francis issued the invitation to Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas during his visit last week to Jordan, Israel, and the Palestinian Authority.
Abbas, Peres, and Francis will be joined by Jewish, Christian and Islamic religious leaders, a statement released by Peres’s spokesperson said, according to the Times of Israel.
And the Pope has been relentlessly reaching out to Protestant organizations.
Here is one example of him reaching out to American charismatics from earlier this summer…
Two controversial TV preachers recently met Pope Francis in an effort to work toward tearing down the ‘walls of division’ between Catholics and Protestants.
Kenneth Copeland and James Robison are two religious leaders in northeast Texas known for drawing huge crowds to their services and events, and who were a part of leading the group identifying as a “delegation of Evangelical Christian leaders” in its meeting with the Roman Catholic pontiff late last month.
In addition, earlier this year the Pope even met with television minister Joel Osteen…
Megachurch speaker and author Joel Osteen was among a group of political and religious leaders who met with Pope Francis at the Vatican on Thursday.
According to reports, Osteen was part of a delegation organized by the International Foundation in an effort to encourage interfaith relations and ecumenicism. Utah Senator Mike Lee (R), a Mormon, Gayle Beebe, the president of the interdenominational Westmont College in California, and Pastor Tim Timmons, founder of South Coast Community Church also in California, were among those who who greeted the pope, along with Osteen.
“I just felt very honored and very humbled,” Osteen told local television station Click 2 Houston. “It was amazing. And even to go back into that part of the Vatican—there’s so much history there, the place that they took us through. You feel that deep respect and reverence for God.”
And this is not something that just started recently. Pope Francis has been pushing an ecumenical agenda very hard from the very first moments of his papacy. For much more on this, please see the article entitled “Pope Francis And The Emerging One World Religion“.
But there is one type of Christian that Pope Francis does not have anything positive to say about.
Pope Francis says that there is not any room for “fundamentalism” in Christianity. That is, the pope despises those who look to scripture and not to him as their ultimate moral authority, simply because the pope stands on organizational tradition, much of which is absolutely contrary to scripture.
Following his first visit to the Middle East as pope last month, the pontiff criticized fundamentalism in Christianity, Islam and Judaism as a form of violence.
This pope libels and lumps the peace loving brethren, the faithful called out of God as fundamentally violent. Placing the called out and faithful to keep the whole Word of God in the same category as radical bloodthirsty extremists.
Of course the papacy considers the truth of scripture violent, because the truth of scripture exposes the false teachings of worldly religions, like Roman Catholicism. The Catholic church, like all religions is filled with wonderful caring people, but the doctrines are not biblical.
“A fundamentalist group, even if it kills no one, even it strikes no one, is violent. The mental structure of fundamentalism is violence in the name of God.”
But exactly what is “fundamentalism”?
The following is the definition of fundamentalism:
“a form of a religion, that upholds belief in the strict, literal interpretation of scripture.”
Pope Francis rejects those Christians that believe in a strict, literal interpretation of the Bible! Yes of course, because he and his religion are not based on scripture but on false doctrines and false traditions incompatible with the Bible!
And precisely what is his overall agenda?
Why has he been working so hard to reach out to other major religions all over the planet?
The scriptures say that a soon coming final false prophet will deceive the whole world into exalting him and his teachings above the Word of God, 2 Thess 2.
