Jeremiah 21-36

Jeremiah 21

After all the wickedness of Judah, the armies of Babylon arrive to fight against them, and Judah goes to inquire of God by Jeremiah in the hope that in spite of their rejections of the warnings to repent; that somehow God will overlook their sins and save them.

Jeremiah 21:1 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when king Zedekiah sent unto him Pashur the son of Melchiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, saying, 21:2 Enquire, I pray thee, of the LORD for us; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon maketh war against us; if so be that the LORD will deal with us according to all his wondrous works, that he may go up from us.

Hear the word of the Lord you leaders and elders who commit the same sins of idolatry as they did; idolizing a man to exalt your false traditions above the Word of God: Who are full of emotional and spiritual adultery to worship the words of men and will not correct yourselves by the Word of God; who reject understanding from the Word of God: for you and those who follow you will surely be strongly corrected just as ancient Judah was.

21:3 Then said Jeremiah unto them, Thus shall ye say to Zedekiah: 21:4 Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will assemble them into the midst of this city.

21:5 And I myself [Almighty God] will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath.

As Christ smote a people who did not have God’s Spirit because they were rebellious at Jerusalem in the days of Jeremiah by the sword of Babylon, and as God later smote Jerusalem by the hand of the Romans [Rome is a part of the statue of the complete Babylonian system Dan 2]; so will he smite Jerusalem and Judea and all physical and spiritual Israel in this latter day.

Almighty God will smite the insincere who falsely claim to worship him as they depart from God’s Word and the unrepentant man worshippers of the church of God groups of this latter day in a great tribulation of 42 months.

21:6 And I will smite the inhabitants of this city, both man and beast: they shall die of a great pestilence. 21:7 And afterward, saith the LORD, I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, and his servants, and the people, and such as are left in this city from the pestilence, from the sword, and from the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those that seek their life: and he shall smite them with the edge of the sword; he shall not spare them, neither have pity, nor have mercy.

Physical Jerusalem is a type of the spiritual Ekklesia of God, the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, the people who are the dwelling place of God, the spiritual temple of God.

God warns the people that if they will leave Jerusalem they shall live. And he who remains in Jerusalem will suffer great correction.

This an allegory that the faithful to God are being called out of today’s apostate factions of the called out Ekklesia and he who remains in today’s apostate factions of the called out Ekklesia will suffer with them in their correction

21:8 And unto this people thou shalt say, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death.

21:9 He that abideth in this city shall die by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goeth out, and falleth to the Chaldeans that besiege you, he shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey. 21:10 For I have set my face against this city for evil, and not for good, saith the LORD: it shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.

To the called out of the Spiritual Ekklesia who have the birthright of ruling the earth if they are faithful overcomers: Jesus Christ declares:

21:11 And touching the house of the king of Judah, say, Hear ye the word of the LORD; 21:12 O house of David, thus saith the LORD; Execute judgment in the morning, and deliver him that is spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

ALL those who love idols of men more than their Mighty One, ALL those who follow the false traditions of men and will not live by every Word of God, ALL those who break the commandments of God, teaching for doctrine the commandments of men: Shall feel the rod [Babylon, Germany, the New Europe] of the correction of Jesus Christ; regardless of their claims.

21:13 Behold, I am against thee, O inhabitant of the valley, and rock of the plain, saith the LORD; which say, Who shall come down against us? or who shall enter into our habitations? 21:14 But I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings, saith the LORD: and I will kindle a fire in the forest thereof, and it shall devour all things round about it.

Jeremiah 22

Christ tells Jeremiah to teach the people sincere repentance to escape God’s correction

Jeremiah 22:1 Thus saith the LORD; Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this word, 22:2 And say, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that enter in by these gates:

Doing the things mentioned is to be consistent with the whole Word of God and to be filled with the compassion of Christ for the sincerely repentant.

If we are compassionate for others, not extorting as much wealth as we can from the brethren, nor bullying and abusing them; if we are zealous to learn and live by every Word of God; if we are striving to root out and overcome all sin and to become fully spiritually united with God the Father and Jesus Christ; then we shall have a place in the resurrection to leadership in the Kingdom of God.

The nations will repent and Messiah the Christ will come to establish the Kingdom of God.

This is a warning from Christ for the people will not repent now and Jerusalem and the church of God groups with all nations will soon be corrected.

22:3 Thus saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place. 22:4 For if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people. 22:5 But if ye will not hear these words, I swear by myself, saith the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation.

As Christ will make physical Judah and Israel a desolation for all their wickedness; he will do the same to correct those who have turned away from their baptismal espousal to him.

22:6 For thus saith the LORD unto the king’s house of Judah; Thou art Gilead unto me, and the head of Lebanon: yet surely I will make thee a wilderness, and cities which are not inhabited. 22:7 And I will prepare destroyers against thee, every one with his weapons: and they shall cut down thy choice cedars [leading men], and cast them into the fire.

When people ask why this has come upon physical and spiritual Israel; they shall be told that it was for the great wickedness of the people who chose to follow their idols of men and corporate entities instead of their espoused Husband.

The church of God groups are serving the false gods of men and corporations and false traditions, contrary to living by every Word of God; that is so obvious it is beyond dispute.

22:8 And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this great city? 22:9 Then they shall answer, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD their God, and worshipped other gods, and served them.

The next lines are about the period in Jeremiah’s day when the captives were to live and die in Babylon for 70 years. In type this refers to those who will not repent and die in their sins.

22:10 Weep ye not for the dead, neither bemoan him: but weep sore for him that goeth away: for he shall return no more, nor see his native country. 22:11 For thus saith the LORD touching Shallum the son of Josiah king of Judah, which reigned instead of Josiah his father, which went forth out of this place; He shall not return thither any more: 22:12 But he shall die in the place whither they have led him captive, and shall see this land no more.

Woe unto these men if they will not repent of their wickedness. Many elders have also used the service of tradesmen in the congregation without paying them. they shall surely lose all their ill gotten gain and will be greatly corrected for their abuse of their office.

22:13Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour’s service without wages, and giveth him not for his work; 22:14 That saith, I will build me a wide house and large chambers, and cutteth him out windows; and it is cieled with cedar, and painted with vermilion.

Those who abuse and take advantage of others shall surely be strongly corrected, and though they reign in this life they shall not reign in the Kingdom of God.

22:15 Shalt thou reign, because thou closest thyself in cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, and then it was well with him? 22:16 He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not this to know me? saith the LORD.

A great many in the ministry of today are full of covetousness; they extort from the brethren, they steal tithes and offerings from God to use it for their own projects instead of for proclaiming the whole Word of God; even worse, they steal form God to build edifices to their idols and to collect memorabilia of their idol.

In the spiritual sense, they shed innocent blood by deceiving people away from eternal life through faithful obedience and following Jesus Christ to idolize themselves and others.

If they do not repent as organizations from following idols of men and corporate organizations; of allowing the tolerating of heresies which is diversities of doctrine from the sound doctrine of the whole Word of God: The organizations will be corrected in the great tribulation, and only the individuals who repent and come out of them to stand on the Word of Christ will understand and obey God’s two prophets.

22:17 But thine eyes and thine heart are not but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.

If Christ judged this man thusly; he will also judge US and our COG leaders thusly for doing the same thing.

22:18 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, saying, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for him, saying, Ah lord! or, Ah his glory! 22:19 He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, drawn and cast forth beyond the gates of Jerusalem.

Speaking of that time in history, Babylon came up against and took Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, the Arab  countries; when she also took Jerusalem and Judah.

22:20 Go up to Lebanon, and cry; and lift up thy voice in Bashan [Golan, now Syria], and cry from the passages: for all thy lovers [allies] are destroyed. 22:21 I spake unto thee in thy prosperity; but thou saidst, I will not hear. This hath been thy manner from thy youth, that thou obeyedst not my voice. 22:22 The wind shall eat up all thy pastors, and thy lovers shall go into captivity: surely then shalt thou be ashamed and confounded for all thy wickedness.

Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and the Arab countries were given into the hand of Babylon in Jeremiah’s day, other prophecies show that the Lebanese, Syrians, Jordanians and Arabs (Psalm 83) will be allied with Babylon in the end time and will fall to the Asian armies as they come down to Jerusalem.

22:23 O inhabitant of Lebanon, that makest thy nest in the cedars, how gracious shalt thou be when pangs come upon thee, the pain as of a woman in travail!

Jeconiah also known as Coniah and as Jehoiachin was the king of Judah who was dethroned by the King of Babylon in the 6th Century BCE. Here God is saying that the city states of Lebanon can not be saved by the king of Judah for the king of Judah is also to be defeated and taken into captivity.

Spiritually this refers to the fact that no man can save us, and we must turn to our Mighty One with all our hearts in true enthusiastic zeal for all his Word. ONLY a sound spiritual unity and relationship with God the Father and Jesus Christ, and not unity and peace with heresy; can deliver a person.

Our Deliverer is Jesus Christ and he has given us instructions to follow in order to become like HIM and to become fully spiritually united with God the Father! ONLY through living by every Word of God (Mat 4:4) can we become like  God the Father and Jesus Christ and be acceptable to them!

This rejection of growth in knowledge in order to be faithful to the false traditions of human idols; separates us from Jesus Christ and God the Father, and will bring strong correction upon us. Men can be great HELPS to focus us on God and to help us become ever closer to God the Father and Christ; but when they begin to insist that they know all there is and insist on standing on false traditions contrary to the Word of God; then they are false teachers and are to be rejected.

22:24 As I live, saith the LORD, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck thee thence; 22:25 And I will give thee into the hand of them that seek thy life, and into the hand of them whose face thou fearest, even into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.

22:26 And I will cast thee out, and thy mother that bare thee, into another country, where ye were not born; and there shall ye die. 22:27 But to the land whereunto they desire to return, thither shall they not return. 22:28 Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?

Speaking of the king of Judah, Coniah is an example for all leaders who do the same thing and leave the Word of God to follow idols. ALL such leaders shall eventually be REMOVED from their positions of authority over the people and be replaced by the resurrected hosen who were faithful to live by every Word of God.

As Coniah was removed from being king over Judah; so the idolatrous leaders of the COG Groups today, will be removed from leading the COG; because they have led the brethren astray to follow men in place of living by every Word of God.

22:29 O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD. 22:30 Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.

Jeremiah 23

As God condemned the leaders of Judah in Jeremiah’s time, Jesus Christ rebukes the leaders and the elders of the church of God factions of this latter day. He condemns their coveting of the chief seats and their own ways which has divided the church into many groups and scattered his people.

The shepherds of the flock of God shall be corrected for teaching their own ways and not teaching the Word of God in its fullness; for each going his own way and scattering the flock of God; and for leading them away from the Word of God and into their particular heresies.

Jeremiah 23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

23:2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings [the great tribulation], saith the LORD.

After the tribulation Christ the coming King of kings will give the people shepherds that have overcome and proved themselves faithful to God the Father; who have been chosen and raised up in the resurrection to eternal life; and they shall teach the whole flock of God to live by every Word of God, which will then include Israel who has been humbled and brought to sincere repentance.

23:3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock [physical Israel] out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. 23:4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.

23:5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch [the branch of Jesse which is Jesus Christ], and a King [of kings, Jesus Christ] shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

In that day all people shall seek the righteousness of Christ and the whole Word of God, and SHALL NOT do what is right in their own eyes any longer.

23:6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he [the King of kings] shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

All Israel shall be saved out of their captivity and fro0m bondage to sin, when our Mighty One comes to deliver humanity.

23:7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of

the land of Egypt; 23:8 But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

But today all physical and most of spiritual Israel are full of sin and require strong correction.

The heart of Jeremiah was broken because of the false teachings among the people; just like the hearts of the faithful are broken for all the evil in the brotherhood and in the land today

23:9 Mine heart within me is broken because of the [false teachers] prophets; all my bones shake;

The godly are passionate for the whole Word of God and are overwhelmed by disgust for all the evil, and staggered by the wrath of God and the declaration of His judgments against the evil in the Ekklesia and in the world.

. . .  I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.

Christ has sent drought and famine for all our spiritual adulteries with the idols of men and false traditions. Our troubles are caused by the sins of the nations, but more importantly because the salt of the Called Out has lost its savor as we have lost our zeal for our Mighty God.

Oh my friends; we are so HOT in our love of men, false traditions and corporate churches with their leaders and elders; we burn to do as they tell us; But we are COLD to search out the truth of God and to learn and live by every Word of God. We blindly follow mortal men without questioning their words to prove them by the whole Word of God. We exalt them above the Husband of our baptismal betrothal, and commit emotional and spiritual adultery against out Lord. Because we follow men and not Christ, we blaspheme when we call ourselves the people of God.

23:10 For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right.

Remember that these things were recorded for our instruction and example. They apply to US today.

Many of the leaders and elders of today’s Ekklesia are profane, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men and leading the flock away from their owner to follow after themselves and their own ways.

23:11 For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house [physical and spiritual temple] have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD. 23:12Wherefore [God will make] their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation [the tribulation], saith the LORD.

As the religious leaders of Judah and Israel caused them to err in ancient times; so the religious leaders of today’s Ekklesia have caused the brethren to err from God in this latter day. Today the called out Ekklesia prophesy by Baal [their idol’s of men and their own false ways] and lead the brethren to follow their idols of man and false traditions away from the Word of God.

Most prophecy for the last days was SEALED by God until there was a need to know in the very last days when God promised to UNSEAL the prophets.  Yet many idolize the errors of the past and refuse the new knowledge that God had promised to reveal in the very last days, (Daniel 12:4 and Daniel 12:9-10).

23:13 And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.

The leaders and most of the elders of today’s Ekklesia are full of emotional and spiritual adultery against the Husband of their baptismal espousal; they walk in false teachings [lies] and they will not repent of idolizing men and exalting them and their words above the Word of God.

23:14 I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness; they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.

This is the promised godly  correction of the unrepentant leaders and elders of today’s church of God factions.

23:15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.

Christ tells us NOT to even listen to the teachings of men who are not zealous for the whole Word of God; for they teach their own ways, contrary to the Word of God; they live by their pride in themselves and do not live by every Word of God.

23:16 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.

This following is the classic false teachings in the Ekklesia today.

You shall have peace if you follow us, and no evil shall come upon you if you follow us and turn away from any zeal for sound doctrine and living by every Word of God. Don’t condemn our sins and departure from the commandments, just close your eyes to our evil doing in the congregations and you will have peace and safety in us.

Such wickedness joins us to idols of men and separates us from God the Father and Jesus Christ and we will surely be corrected by them as apostates and sinners against the Word of God.

23:17 They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.

Because few have stood on the solid foundation of the Word of God; God’s fury will go forth against today’s Ekklesia as a whirlwind to afflict those who do this wickedness.

23:18 For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it? 23:19 Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

This happened to Judah in the days of Jeremiah; as a lesson that we should not do the same sins, or we will surely reap the same correction.

23:20 The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.

The men who prophesy lies in the name of the Lord; saying that there will be more years before the tribulation of correction and who stand on false traditions and the idolizing of men; shall not prosper.

23:21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

We are to stand on every Word of God and not to stand on the false traditions of men; we are to love God more than we love men and corporate churches; we are to learn and to live by every Word of God and NOT to idolize men.

23:22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

Jesus Christ has heard and knows what is done by the people; who lie, calling themselves by the name of the God; when they will not keep the Word of God and live in rebellion against God’s Word.

23:23 Am I a God at hand [present with us], saith the LORD, and not a God afar off? 23:24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD. 23:25 I have heard what the prophets [leaders and speakers teach] said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

How long will the elders and leaders lead people away from living by every Word of God to follow themselves and their false traditions?  How long will they exalt a dead man above the Word of God? How long will they make and bow before idols [baals] of men and corporate entities?

23:26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; 23:27Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

The zealous for God must speak out against the false teachers; declaring the Word of the Lord.  God’s Word is a consuming fire that will destroy the false words of the wicked.

23:28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD. 23:29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

Jesus Christ who inspired the Holy Scriptures, is against those who speak their own words and teach their false traditions, tolerating heresy and sin while falsely claiming that they are teaching the Word of God.

Jesus Christ is against those who steal God’s Word out of the brethren by replacing the Word of God with their idolatry and false teachings.

23:30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets [speakers], saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour. 23:31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith. [When the Eternal has NOT said any such thing!]

Jesus Christ is against those who teach from their own imaginations to deceive people to follow after themselves, and not to learn and live by every Word of God.

23:32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy [speak, teach falsely] false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness [taking lightly the word of God]; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.

Jesus Christ will not burden himself with those who depart from zeal for him to do their own ways. Jesus Christ WILL NOT tolerate heresy and doctrines that separate the people from him, but will cast the wicked aside into severe correction.

The burden of the LORD is a reference to the words which God tells his servants the prophets to speak.  Here God says that he will. forsake the people and will no longer speak to them.

23:33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.

Those who keep and teach their own ways and are not zealous for learning and living by every Word of God, and yet call themselves godly and call upon God the Father to accept them in their unrepentant sin; will be corrected by Jesus Christ in great affliction in the hope that they will repent of their gross pride and  stubborn self-will.

23:34 And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of the LORD [those who falsely claim to speak for God will be punished], I will even punish that man and his house.

Repent quickly and seek to learn and live by every Word of God, and not after the teachings of men. When someone asks you a question do you answer: “Well the church teaches” or “this man  said”; or do you answer; “The scriptures say this” and then quote and stand on the whole Word of God?

23:35 Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother, What hath the LORD answered? and, What hath the LORD spoken?

Because today’s Ekklesia have followed a mortal man and idolized his words, and have not proven out his words by the whole Word of God; and have twisted and perverted many of the words of scripture to support their errors; each person who does that, will be responsible for his own conduct and God will correct him, neither hearing him nor delivering him for his unrepentant sin.

23:36 And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man’s word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.

We are to say: Teach us every Word of God!

23:37 Thus shalt thou say to the prophet, What hath the LORD answered thee? and, What hath the LORD spoken?

But because we call ourselves godly as we idolize men and refuse the knowledge of the Word of God, to follow after our idols; and then we declare that we are the people of God and that God must and will care for us.  Because we call upon God to take care of us, as we refuse to learn and keep his Word, following men instead of the Word of God; and thus have made ourselves sovereign and God subject to ourselves: God will reject us.

Repent quickly and turn with enthusiastic zeal to learn and live by every Word of God, and follow God the Father in Christ-like zeal, not following men teaching contrary to Christ; lest we be rejected by the Husband of our baptismal espousal.

23:38 But since ye say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus saith the LORD; Because ye say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of the LORD; 23:39 Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of my presence: 23:40 And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.

Jeremiah 24

After the first batch of captives was taken from Jerusalem; Christ gives Jeremiah the instructional example of the figs.

On March 15/16th, 597 BC,  Jeconiah, his entire household and three thousand Jews [including Ezekiel and Daniel], were exiled to Babylon.  This was the first batch of exiles ten years before the final destruction of Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 24:1 The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.

One basket was of very good figs and the other had in it spoiled and bad [rotting] figs.

24:2 One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad. 24:3 Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.

Christ tells Jeremiah that the good figs represent those who sincerely repent and turn to him with a whole heart; shall be accepted and brought back to Jerusalem.

These men of physical Judah who will repent are a type of those of today’s spiritual Israel who will be corrected for their wickedness and backsliding away from the Word of God, if they will sincerely repent and turn to Christ with a whole heart they shall be accepted and shall be in the resurrection to eternal life and have a part in the government of the Kingdom of God.

God states that the hour of trial is FOR OUR GOOD!

24:4 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 24:5 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good. 24:6 For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.

The deeply sincerely repentant of the apostate Ekklesia shall be given God’s Spirit and shall have their part as the Chosen of God.

24:7 And I will give them an heart to know me [they shall be given the Holy Spirit so this is speaking of the called out in the latter day], that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.

The unrepentant of the spiritual Ekklesia [spiritual Israel] will suffer the just consequences of their actions, just like the unrepentant in Jeremiah’s days were afflicted as an instructional example for us.

24:8 And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt: 24:9 And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them. 24:10 And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.

Jeremiah 25

Jeremiah 25:1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that was the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; 25:2 The which  Jeremiah the prophet spake unto all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying,

Jeremiah had warned the people for ten years and most of the people still did not repent.

25:3 From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three and twentieth year, the word of the LORD hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened.

The people would not listen nor repent at the words and warnings of the prophets.

Today the called out Spiritual Ekklesia have all the words of the prophets in print including the words of Jesus Christ himself and the apostles; and yet they will not listen to the Word of God nor will they repent of following the words of their idols of men instead of loving and following the whole Word of God. Today the Called Out of spiritual Judah would rather cleave to false traditions and follow the teachings of men then to have any zeal for Jesus Christ and living by every Word of God.

25:4 And the LORD hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear.

The apostles and prophets and the whole Word of God, proclaims that if we are diligent to learn and zealous to live by every Word of God and if we love God enough to do what he has taught us; then we shall be delivered into the spiritual Promised Land of eternal life. But if we insist on doing what we think is right, or continue  in loving and following some man instead of the Word of God, we shall be strongly corrected for our idolatry.

25:5 They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever: 25:6 And go not after other gods [idols of men and corporations] to serve them, and to worship [obey] them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands [our sinful deeds]; and I will do you no hurt.

Like ancient Judah we have not repented of exalting men above God in our hearts, to serve them instead of learning and living by every Word of God.

25:7 Yet ye have not hearkened unto me, saith the LORD; that ye might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt.

As God corrected ancient Judah so he shall correct modern Judah / Israel and spiritual Israel for committing the very same sins of idolatry and Sabbath breaking

25:8 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Because ye have not heard my words, 25:9 Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations. 25:10 Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle.

It is from the following two verses and from Jeremiah 29:10, that Daniel understood that the captivity of Judah was close to ending and fasted and Daniel 9 and the seventy weeks prophecy was given to him.

25:11 And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. 25:12 And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.

As this came with the conquest of Babylon by Media Persia; it will come in the last days when Jesus Christ will come and destroy the Babylon of the New Europe which had occupied today’s Jerusalem for 42 months.

25:13 And I will bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah hath prophesied against all the nations. 25:14 For many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of them [make them their servants] also: and I will recompense them [Babylon the New Europe] according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands.

25:15 For thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it. 25:16 And they shall drink, and be moved, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them.

The actions of Babylon in the days of Jeremiah were only a small type of the major correction coming on the nations and the Laodicean Ekklesia of today.

The next verses are a prophecy of the great tribulation of the last days of humanity’s misrule on the earth.

25:17 Then took I the cup at the LORD’s hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me: 25:18 To wit [including], Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse; as it is this day;

God tells Jeremiah how Babylon will not only conquer Judah and Jerusalem but will also conquer Egypt the benefactor of Judah at that time.   This was a type of the latter day great tribulation when the nations shall be corrected just before the coming of Messiah.

25:19 Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people; 25:20 And all the mingled people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Azzah, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod,

These nations will be allied with the New Europe in the final rising of Babylon the great and will be overrun by the Asian armies in the third year of the tribulation..

25:21 Edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon, 25:22 And all the kings of Tyrus, and all the kings of Zidon, and the kings of the isles which are beyond the sea, 25:23 Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all that are in the utmost corners, 25:24 And all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the desert,

In the latter days Elam [the Slavs] and the Medes [Ukraine] will be allied with the people of Asia and will fight against the New Europe in the third year of the tribulation.

25:25 And all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes, 25:26 And all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another, and all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the face of the earth: and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them. 25:27 Therefore thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.

The people of physical and spiritual Israel, then the New Europe of Babylon and finally these Asian nations shall surely be corrected in the great tribulation.

25:28 And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink.

God says that He will correct Jerusalem, Judah and the nations of Israel, and his spiritual Called Out who depart from him; and God will not leave the other nations uncorrected.

25:29 For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD of hosts.

Jesus Christ is about to ROAR out his righteous indignation at the wickedness of today.

25:30 Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.

Those who are not zealous to learn and live by every Word of God; those who wickedly depart from the Word of God; SHALL BE CORRECTED IN A GREAT CORRECTION

25:31 A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD.

Speaking of the 42 months of great tribulation the one who became Jesus Christ declares.

25:32 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. 25:33 And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.

Jesus Christ now speaks very specifically to the unrepentant leaders of the latter day called out Spiritual Ekklesia who are the flock of God.

25:34 Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, ye principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished [come upon you]; and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel [falls like a delicate vase which shatters as it hits the ground]. 25:35 And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape. 25:36 A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and an howling of the principal of the flock, shall be heard: for the LORD hath spoiled their pasture.

25:37 And the peaceable habitations are cut down because of the fierce anger of the LORD.

Because of the Nicolaitane governance of placing a hierarchy of men BETWEEN God and tthe brethren in today’s church of God, and because these groups are filled with spiritual adultery against the Husband of their baptismal vows; Because today’s called out Spiritual Ekklesia idolize men and false traditions and the leaders lord it over the brethren, oppressing them, by teaching for doctrine the commandments of men, and leading the people away from any true zeal for sound doctrine and the Word of God: The anger of Jesus Christ has been provoked to a fierce wrath.

25:38 He hath forsaken his covert, as the lion: for their land is desolate because of the fierceness of the oppressor, and because of his fierce anger.

Jeremiah 26

Jeremiah is commanded to give a warning to all the people in the temple of God in the hope that they will repent of falsely coming before God unrepentant of their idolatry, claiming that they are God’s people as they follow their idols and their own ways.

This is a type of God’s command to proclaim the same warnings to the spiritual Temple of God the called out Spiritual Ekklesia.

Jeremiah 26:1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word from the LORD, saying, 26:2 Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD’s house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD’s house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:

As God commanded Jeremiah to warn the people of Judah and Jerusalem to repent in that day;  God is warning today’s Spiritual Judah the Temple of God’s Spirit to sincerely and quickly repent before our correction comes upon us.

26:3 If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings.

As God destroyed Judah, Jerusalem and the physical  temple for not being zealous to learn and keep his commandments in Jeremiah’s time: He will do the same thing today to those [the church of God factions] who are not zealous for God’s Word and yet are zealous for their idols of men, corporate churches and their false traditions.

26:4 And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you, 26:5 To hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending them, but ye have not hearkened;

If today’s  church of God factions will not sincerely repent of our spiritual idolatry and adultery against God, then Almighty God will make today’s Spiritual Temple of the called out Ekklesia like Shiloh and like the temple at Jerusalem which were destroyed.

26:6 Then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.

The ministry and the people rejected the word of warning from God through Jeremiah, just as most of today’s ministry are rejecting any zeal to live by every Word of God today.

26:7 So the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD.

The ministry of Jeremiah’s time were incensed at the warnings to repent of their Sabbath breaking and idolatry then; and the Spiritual Ekklesia factions are incensed at the warnings to repent of the very same sins today.

26:8 Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.

Most of today’s church of God leaders and elders are just as full of pride as those people were in that day, and think themselves righteous as they worship [obey] men, exalting men in idolatry above the Word of God. They believe themselves righteous for following the teachings of a man instead of living by every Word of God, and they believe that no harm shall come to them as long as they are loyal to their idols, falsely accounting loyalty to their idols of men, organizations and false traditions as synonymous with loyalty to God.

26:9Why hast thou prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD. 26:10 When the princes of Judah heard these things, then they came up from the king’s house unto the house of the LORD, and sat down in the entry of the new gate of the LORD’s house.

This is the same today; the ministry intensely resent being told that they are not perfect.

26:11 Then spake the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy to die; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears.

Today’s Spiritual Ekklesia starting with most of the leaders and elders need to repent of their pride and idolatry, even as the ministry in Jeremiah’s day needed to repent; as they did not repent then and the ministry will not repent today. We shall be corrected as they were corrected and for the same sins.

26:12 Then spake Jeremiah unto all the princes and to all the people, saying, The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that ye have heard. 26:13 Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you.

Jeremiah insists that he was only proclaiming what God had told him to say, and urges the ministry to repent.

26:14 As for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as seemeth good and meet unto you. 26:15 But know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death, ye shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears.

Then there was an argument over what to do with Jeremiah for some cited the example of the repentant Hezekiah and others the example of the wicked Jehoiakim. Notice that the argument was over the example of these rulers and was not about what was in God’s Word.

26:16 Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets; This man is not worthy to die: for he hath spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God.

The example of Hezekiah, who was a type of the repentant in the Ekklesia today

26:17 Then rose up certain of the elders of the land, and spake to all the assembly of the people, saying, 26:18 Micah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and spake to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Zion shall be plowed like a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.

26:19 Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? did he not fear the LORD, and besought the LORD, and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure great evil against our souls.

The example of Jehoiakim who was a type of the unrepentant of today’s Spiritual Ekklesia who reject sincere repentance.

26:20 And there was also a man that prophesied in the name of the LORD, Urijah the son of Shemaiah of Kirjathjearim, who prophesied against this city and against this land according to all the words of Jeremiah.

26:21 And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death: but when Urijah heard it, he was afraid, and fled, and went into Egypt; 26:22 And Jehoiakim the king sent men into Egypt, namely, Elnathan the son of Achbor, and certain men with him into Egypt. 26:23 And they fetched forth Urijah out of Egypt, and brought him unto Jehoiakim the king; who slew him with the sword, and cast his dead body into the graves of the common people.

As the wicked persecuted Urijah, Jeremiah and other men of God in the past, so the wicked seek to persecute men of God today; they will be strongly corrected for the sin of refusing to repent and persecuting those trying to warn and save them

Then Ahikam the godly protects Jeremiah

(uh hi kam) Personal name meaning, “my brother stood up.” Son of Josiah’s scribe Shaphan.

The mighty deeds of faith of Ahikam and his son Gedaliah

2 Kings 22:8 Then Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, “I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD.” And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan who read it. 22:9 Shaphan the scribe came to the king and brought back word to the king and said, “Your servants have emptied out the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of the workmen who have the oversight of the house of the LORD.” 22:10 Moreover, Shaphan the scribe told the king saying, “Hilkiah the priest has given me a book.” And Shaphan read it in the presence of the king. 22:11 When the king heard the words of the book of the law, he tore his clothes.

22:12 Then the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam the son of Shaphan, Achbor the son of Micaiah, Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah the king’s servant saying, 22:13 “Go, inquire of the LORD for me and the people and all Judah concerning the words of this book that has been found, for great is the wrath of the LORD that burns against us, because our fathers have not listened to the words of this book, to do according to all that is written concerning us.

Ahaikam’s son Gedaliah headed the Jews left in Judah after Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Jerusalem (586 B.C.) briefly before rebels killed him

2 Kings 25:22-25:22 Now as for the people who were left in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, he appointed Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan over them. 22:23 When all the captains of the forces, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah governor, they came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, namely, Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of the Maacathite, they and their men. 22:24 Gedaliah swore to them and their men and said to them, “Do not be afraid of the servants of the Chaldeans; live in the land and serve the king of Babylon, and it will be well with you.22:25 But it came about in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the royal family, came with ten men and struck Gedaliah down so that he died along with the Jews and the Chaldeans who were with him at Mizpah.

Ahikam was the man who protected Jeremiah when King Jehoiakim wanted to kill the prophet and it was Ahikam’s son Gedaliah who was later murdered by Ishmael for his faithfulness to the Word of  God.

Jeremiah 26:24 But the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, so that he was not given into the hands of the people to put him to death.

Later, Ahikam’s  son Gedaliah also protected Jeremiah after he was made governor when the people of Jerusalem were taken to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar

Jeremiah 39:14 they even sent and took Jeremiah out of the court of the guardhouse and entrusted him to Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, to take him home. So he stayed [Jeremiah remained free] among the people.

Jeremiah 26:24 Nevertheless the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, that they should not give him into the hand of the people to put him to death.

Jeremiah 27

God gives the nations in Jeremiah’s day into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar

This prophecy reveals specifically how long the domination of Nebuchadnezzar, as the head of gold of the statue of Babylon [Dan 2] would last.

This is a prophecy specific of Nebuchadnezzar in those days, and an introduction to the history of Judah of that period and how they would not obey the Word of God and were destroyed for that sin even though God was willing to show mercy.

This is an example of the wickedness and the correction of those who will not obey God, recorded for our instruction that we should learn to obey and live by every Word of God today.

Jeremiah 27:1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, 27:2 Thus saith the LORD to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck, 27:3 And send them to the king of Edom and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah;

27:4 And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters; 27:5 I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me. 27:6 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.

The following is an example of putting together all scripture to find the truth

For many decades people declared Daniel 5 to be wrong, because it was Nebuchadnezzar’s grandson and not his son who fell to the Persians. If they had only searched the scriptures more closely, they would have found the word of God through Jeremiah!

This prophecy says that in the days of Nebuchadnezzar’s grandson, the kingdom of Babylon of Nebuchadnezzar, the head of gold of Daniel 2, shall fall to great kings who shall rule over and succeed the head of gold.

We find this was fulfilled and the empire of Nebuchadnezzar was succeeded by the Medo Persian Empire which maintained the religion and system of Babylon but were a different people. This succession is recorded in Daniel 5 where the word son is used in terms of descendant and actually refers to the grandson of Nebuchadnezzar as history shows and as is revealed in Jeremiah.

Belshazzar was the son of Nabonidus, and grandson of Nebuchadnezzar. Nabonidus made Belshazzar co-regent in 553 BC, leaving him in charge of Babylon’s defense. In 540 BC, Nabonidus fought at Tayma, hoping to defend his kingdom from the Persians who were planning to advance on Babylon. Belshazzar was positioned in the city of Babylon to hold the capital, while Nabonidus marched his troops north to meet Cyrus. On October 10, 539 BC, Nabonidus surrendered and fled from Cyrus. Two days later the Persian armies overthrew the city of Babylon.

Jeremiah 27:7 And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son’s son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him.

God decreed that all the nations of that region would serve Nebuchadnezzar until the days of his grandson, when that empire would be taken over by the Medes and the Persians.

27:8 And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish,  saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.

God proclaims through Jeremiah that Judah shall serve Nebuchadnezzar because of the overspreading of their abominations.

In this end time, physical and spiritual Israel shall serve Babylon the Great for only 42 months, yet in a much more extreme captivity and correction.

27:9 Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: 27:10 For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish.

God promises that those in Jeremiah’s time who are willing to submit to their correction and to serve Nebuchadnezzar, shall be allowed to remain in the land in security.

God also tells us in our day not to listen to any self proclaimed [false]  prophet who says that our correction is delayed and that our time will continue past the coming Mideast peace deal (1 Thess 5:3).

27:11 But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith the LORD; and they shall till it, and dwell therein. 27:12 I spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.

Jeremiah proclaims God’s promise that if Judah will accept their correction to serve Nebuchadnezzar and go out to surrender to him, that they should surely live. But those who resist and fight will die in captivity.

27:13Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the LORD hath spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon? 27:14 Therefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you. 27:15 For I have not sent them, saith the LORD, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.

Today God declares that if His called out Spiritual Ekklesia will only sincerely repent and turn to live by every Word of God and leave this wicked land, we shall be delivered from God’s correction on the wicked.

The work of Elijah will be done by God through his two servants and will be done by the power of God’s Spirit; and will NOT be done by some organization. This is so that the brethren will understand that Almighty God and his Word are far above the organizations of men.

Follow and live by every Word of God and repent of idolizing men, false traditions and corporate organizations rather than the whole Word of God. We think that we are so great and godly while our Lord is calling on us to repent of our transgressions. Truly we are spiritually blind and wretched and naked of any righteousness rejecting learning and zealously living by every Word of God.

Far from doing some great work, these corporate factions are even now being rejected by Jesus Christ (Rev 3:16), for loving men and false traditions more then they love the whole Word of God. These organizations deceive themselves as they have turned away from God to do what is right in their own eyes; it is up to individuals to diligently seek to work out their own salvation in fear and trembling (Philip 2:12).

This rejection by Christ, because we have turned away from zeal for God’s Word (Rev 3:16), is the stopping of the intercession [daily sacrifice] of our High Priest Jesus Christ for our collective sins, it is the stopping of the daily sacrifice as written of by Daniel.

Please see: Understanding The Daily and The Sacrificial System

No physical sacrifice or physical temple is biblically necessary for the tribulation to begin.

In fact God tells Daniel that the daily sacrifice will be stopped by prince Titus and will remain stopped, until Messiah comes to cleanse the area of the sanctuary and build the millennial Temple.  See The 2300 Day Prophecy: Dating the Tribulation and the Coming of Messiah

Do not believe the lies of today’s false teachers; that when a peace deal is achieved in the Middle East, there will remain 3 1/2 years for some great Elijah Work by certain organizations of the corporate Ekklesia.

There will be no more delay in our correction once peace and safety is declared (1 Thess 5:3).

27:16 Also I spake to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto  you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the LORD’s house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.

27:17 Hearken not unto them; [Do not obey idols and false teachers of men but OBEY GOD and keep God’s Word doing whatever he commands] serve the king of Babylon [as God has commanded], and live: wherefore should this city be laid waste? 27:18 But if they be prophets, and if the word of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.

None of the church of God organizations will do an Elijah work, for none of them stands on the whole Word of God like Elijah did!

The work of Moses in proclaiming the Word of the Lord, and the work of Elijah in restoring the Word of the Lord, will be done by two individual physical men.

27:19 For thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city. 27:20Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took not, when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem; 27:21 Yea, thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem; 27:22 They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, saith the LORD; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.

Jeremiah 28

False prophet Hananiah resists Jeremiah; proclaiming a false prophecy and claiming that he is of God and Jeremiah is not. Even so many false prophets and false teachers within the Spiritual Ekklesia today; resist the Word of the LORD today.

How can we tell the difference between good and evil in this situation today? Prove all things by the whole Word of God (Mat 7)!

Jeremiah 28:1 And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of the LORD, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,

These false prophecies of Hananiah did not come to pass; and neither will any corporate Ekklesia faction do an Elijah work after peace has been declared in our day.

Indeed as corporates groups they shall be rejected by Christ if they remain unrepentant [that rejection by Christ is the stopping of the spiritual daily sacrifice on their behalf], and will be given into the correction of the great tribulation for their pride and sins (Rev 3:16).

28:2 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. 28:3 Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of the LORD’s house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon: 28:4 And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the LORD: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all of the Ekklesia were as righteous as they think they are; and that they would unite; and that a major Elijah work would be done by them!!!

Sadly, most will NOT repent and turn from exalting their own ways above the Word of God, by doing what they think is right instead of diligently seeking to learn and keep every Word of God.

Even if some of them should manage to unite for the purpose of doing a great Elijah work when they see the Mideast peace deal achieved; they are not of the spirit of Elijah and will not do an Elijah work!

28:5 Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the LORD, 28:6 Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the LORD’s house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.

Jeremiah and Jesus both said that the prophets of God shall be known by their fruits and their consistency with the Word of God.

28:7 Nevertheless hear thou now this word that I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people; 28:8 The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence. 28:9 The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD hath truly sent him.

Hananiah spoke falsely in the name of the Lord; and so do many false prophets and leaders in the brotherhood today, who speak of 3 1/2 years after a Mideast peace deal to do a some great Elijah work; when the Word of God proclaims that when they declare peace and safety then sudden immediate destruction will fall on them (1 Thess 5:3).

28:10 Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck, and brake it. 28:11 And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.

After this coming war and the great victory over Islamic Extremism, a genuine peace deal will be negotiated, and as soon s the abomination is set up and goes to the Holy Mount and “peace and safety” is declared as achieved; sudden immediate destruction will fall upon us, (1 Thess 5:3 and Mat 24:15).

Then those who proclaim that they will now have 3 1/2 years after peace has been declared to do an Elijah work; shall fall into great tribulation for believing their own false traditions and not believing the Word of God.

Not understanding the scriptures and standing on their false tradition, they shall say that because no physical temple has been built and no physical sacrifice has been  started, that they now have 3 1/2 years to do an Elijah work.

This in defiance of The 70 Weeks Prophecy which says that from the time that Prince Titus of Rome stopped the physical Daily by destroying the temple [c 70 A.D.]; there would be no new temple and no physical sacrifices until Messiah comes.

28:12 Then the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,

Then the one who became Jesus Christ told Jeremiah how to respond to the false teachers

28:13 Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron. 28:14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.

Today the false teachers think to heal the organizations by telling the people that there is peace, and that they are about to do a great Elijah work; when there shall be no peace, and they are being rejected into great tribulation for their spiritual adulteries with the false traditions of men.

28:15 Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.

As the false prophet Hananiah died; so shall the false teachers in the factions of the called out Spiritual Ekklesia also die in great tribulation, unless they quickly repent.

28:16 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD. 28:17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.

Jeremiah 29

Jeremiah writes a letter to the artisans [including king Jeconiah, Ezekiel and Daniel] carried away to Babylon in the first wave c 597 B.C. with instructions from God for them in their captivity.

Jeremiah 29:1 Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the elders which were carried away captives, and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon; 29:2 (After that Jeconiah the king, and the queen, and the eunuchs, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, and the carpenters, and the smiths, were departed from Jerusalem;) 29:3 By the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent unto Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon) saying,

God tells the first wave of captives to be content and increase in the cities where they have been placed, and to be at peace with their overseers.

29:4 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon; 29:5 Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them; 29:6 Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished. 29:7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.

God tells them that they should not listen to the teachers who speak their own words contrary to the Word of God and tells the captives that they shall be allowed to return to Judea in seventy years.

29:8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. 29:9 For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 25:11-12 also refers to the seventy years in Babylon of ancient Judah

29:10 For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place [Jerusalem and Judea]. 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

God then says that those who repent will be acceptable to him; speaking of the revival in the days of Ezra and Nehemiah; which was a fore-type of the revival to come when all Israel returns to their land at the coming of Christ and all who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved..

29:12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. 29:14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

The false teachers and brethren who speak their own words and do what they think is right, having no zeal to learn and keep the whole Word of God shall be corrected. God is no respecter of persons and he will also correct his spiritually called out for committing the same sins as physical Judah committed.

29:15 Because ye have said, The LORD hath raised us up prophets in Babylon; 29:16 Know that thus saith the LORD of the king that sitteth upon the throne of David, and of all the people that dwelleth in this city, and of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity; 29:17 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.

Those who do not listen to the Word of God to learn and do it; regardless of how righteous they think they are; shall be strongly corrected.

29:18 And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them: 29:19 Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but ye would not hear, saith the LORD.

Many leaders and elders in today’s Ekklesia who many brethren adore today, are only wicked men leading us away from the Word of God and after themselves. They shall die for their wickedness in great tribulation.

29:20 Hear ye therefore the word of the LORD, all ye of the captivity, whom I have sent from Jerusalem to Babylon: 29:21 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, of Ahab the son of Kolaiah, and of Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, which prophesy a lie unto you in my name; Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall slay them before your eyes;

Those that are leading the people astray from God to follow themselves and to idolize men; shall become a curse and a byword for evil in the assemblies of the Called Out in future; if they do not repent.

29:22 And of them shall be taken up a curse by all the captivity of Judah which are in Babylon, saying, The LORD make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire; 29:23 Because they have committed villany in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbours’ wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not commanded them; even I know, and am a witness, saith the LORD.

Then false prophet Shemaiah writes that Jeremiah is mad and should be imprisoned.

29:24 Thus shalt thou also speak to Shemaiah the Nehelamite, saying, 29:25 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Because thou hast sent letters in thy name unto all the people that are at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, and to all the priests, saying, 29:26 The LORD hath made thee priest in the stead of Jehoiada the priest, that ye should be officers in the house of the LORD, for every man that is mad, and maketh himself a prophet, that thou shouldest put him in prison, and in the stocks. 29:27 Now therefore why hast thou not reproved Jeremiah of Anathoth, which maketh himself a prophet to you? 29:28 For therefore he sent unto us in Babylon, saying, This captivity is long: build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them.

29:29 And Zephaniah the priest read this letter in the ears of Jeremiah the prophet.

Shemaiah is cursed for teaching rebellion against God, that people should follow him and imprison Jeremiah and the true servants of God.

Even so the men who teach the people not to be zealous for the Word of God and lead them astray to follow after themselves in this latter day; shall be cursed with very strong correction if they do not quickly repent and turn to a zeal to learn, teach and live by every Word of God.

29:30 Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying, 29:31 Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus saith the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he caused you to trust in a lie: 29:32 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed: he shall not have a man to dwell among this people [he will have no descendants]; neither shall he behold the good that I will do for my people, saith the LORD; because he hath taught rebellion against the LORD.

Jeremiah 30

Jeremiah is told to write all the words of God in a book; and is promised that Israel will return to their land. The return in the days of Ezra / Nehemiah was a fore-type of the return of all Israel at the beginning of the millennial Sabbath of rest; represented by the weekly Sabbath and the seventh day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

The deliverance of Israel by Messiah the Christ

Jeremiah 30:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, 30:2 Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.

We know that this speaks of the millennium because it speaks of BOTH Judah and Israel returning to the land and that has not yet happened.

30:3 For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

The prophecy of BOTH Israel and Judah for the latter days

30:4 And these are the words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah.

The correction of the great tribulation, the 42 months of Jacob’s trouble

30:5 For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. 30:6 Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? 30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.

Messiah shall come and save the children of Jacob and deliver all humanity from the yoke of bondage to sin.  The yoke of Babylon in the tribulation upon Judah and Israel shall be broken at the coming of Christ and they shall no longer serve strangers but sill serve the LORD of Hosts.

30:8 For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more [strangers shall no more be served by Israel after the tribulation] serve themselves of him:

All flesh shall serve the Eternal in the millennium (Joel 2;28).

30:9 But they [all Israel] shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.

Messiah shall bring a Sabbath millennium of peace to the earth, as represented by the seventh and High Holy Day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread.  See “The Biblical Spring Festivals” book.

30:10 Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.

We have this promise from God that he will correct us, and will also deliver and save the repentant of both physical and spiritual Israel.

30:11 For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.

Physical and Spiritual Israel are so evil in the sight of God, that nothing can save us from strong correction.

The great tribulation really is the correction of a merciful God to save us from our spiritual destruction of our self-righteous and self-justifying ways.  The Laodicean Ekklesia will suffer greatly as will physical Israel, yet after a time we will turn to thank our God for the correction he has administered to us, saving us from ourselves and our sins.

30:12 For thus saith the LORD, Thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous. 30:13 There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines. 30:14 All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased. 30:15Why criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee.

Once we repent; God is Mighty to deliver his beloved!

30:16 Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey. 30:17 For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.

When Christ comes with his Chosen, and the earth is full of repentance and full of the Word of God to do it; Jerusalem and a new physical temple will be built and peace shall overflow the nations bringing prosperity with godliness.

30:18 Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.

The earth shall be filled with the rejoicing of thanksgiving and full of Christ-like zeal to live by every Word of God!

30:19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small. 30:20 Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.

The leaders of the people shall be the chosen of God, who have proved themselves to be in full spiritual unity with God the Father and Jesus Christ!

30:21 And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the LORD.

Then all Israel shall be faithful to the Mighty One of Jacob and all the earth shall be grafted into spiritual Israel!

30:22 And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

The tribulation shall destroy wickedness and humble the nations to accept and serve the Mighty God! Even the great pride of the church of God factions will be humbled, and they will turn from worshipping [obeying] men and cleaving to false traditions; to the Lord God Almighty, to learn of him and to serve him with true sincerity of heart!

30:23 Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked. 30:24 The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he hath done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it.

Jeremiah 31

Hope of Deliverance!

When Christ comes to be welcomed by his repentant people, all the people of Israel will accept and welcome their Deliverer.

Jeremiah 31:1 At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

When Messiah comes, he will give a millennial Sabbath of rest to the earth. This is what the weekly Sabbath and the Seventh Day High Day of Unleavened Bread represents. The seven day Feast of Tabernacles has absolutely NOTHING whatsoever to do with a thousand year millennium.

31:2 Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.

Jesus Christ has loved his Called Out of physical and spiritual Israel and after we are corrected and repent to turn to him; he will rejoice to deliver his repentant beloved.

31:3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

The Chosen of Spiritual Israel and the remnant of physical Israel shall be delivered and rejoice in their God and his Word when their beloved comes to save them.

31:4 Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.

In the millennium the earth shall bring forth much fruit of the physical vines of the earth, and much spiritual fruit of the true spiritual vine of Christ the Messiah (John 15).

31:5 Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.

The house of Jacob and all flesh shall turn to the Eternal to worship God in sincerity and truth, zealously learning and living by every Word of God and going up to worship God in the Millennial Temple at Jerusalem.

31:6 For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.

The hour of the resurrection of the Chosen and the deliverance of the whole earth is almost at hand.

31:7 For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.

The scattered of the tribes of Israel shall return to the physical land of promise! and the Chosen shall enter the Promised Land of eternal life, the Family of God!

31:8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.

All Israel shall come in deep repentance to turn away from living as it seems right to them; to turn toward learning and living by every Word of God!

31:9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

The day of great rejoicing when spiritual Israel is resurrected and gathered as the collective bride to the marriage of the Lamb!  and the great rejoicing of all physical Israel when their Deliverer comes to his repentant flock!

31:10 Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.

Israel has been redeemed by the hand of the Messiah, the Deliverer; who died for humanity and was resurrected by God the Father in heaven; and who will come to save his people!

31:11 For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him [Israel’s enemies] that was stronger than he.

In the millennial Sabbath of rest, physical Israel and all humanity will flourish as they seek to learn and live by every Word of God!

31:12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all. 31:13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

31:14 And I will satiate the soul of the [faithful] priests with fatness [the fatness of the Word of God], and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness [the wonderful goodness of every Word of God], saith the LORD.

A prophecy of the tribulation, and in duality; of the killing of the children of Bethlehem by Herod.

31:15 Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.

Weep not Rachel [Rachel as a type of her children, Judah] for out of these sorrows deliverance will come.

31:16 Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. 31:17 And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.

Ephraim will be humbled and will sincerely repent, turning to learn and live by every Word of the Mighty One of Jacob.

31:18 I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God. 31:19 Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.

Jesus Christ will have mercy on Ephraim [the modern British peoples of Anglo Saxon Norman stock].  Ephraim is a half tribe of Joseph, as Manasseh [America] is a\the other half tribe of Joseph; the two together being the whole tribe of Joseph.

31:20 Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.

Israel including all of its tribes will be brought back to Palestine; which is symbolic of being brought back to the Mighty God of Jacob to learn and to live by every Word of God; instead of following the false traditions of men.

31:21 Set thee up waymarks [directional signs], make thee high heaps [landmarks for travelers]: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.

Israel is likened to a wicked daughter who repents after strong correction and returns to godliness; and Israel [pictured as a woman] is then raised up above the men [nations] of the earth.

31:22 How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass [rise above] a man.

Jerusalem in Judah shall be the dwelling of the Just One; the capital of the whole earth and the righteousness of the whole Word of God shall flow from the King of kings.

31:23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.

The shepherds of the flocks are a type to the priests of the Lord who shall teach all people to live by every Word of God and God’s righteousness.

31:24 And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.

Christ will fill the hungry soul physically and spiritually

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Jeremiah 31:25 For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.

The deliverance of Israel and humanity is sweet and precious to God the Father and to the Son.

31:26 Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.

The deliverance and building up of the nations in the righteousness of the whole Word of God in His Kingdom.

31:27 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast. 31:28 And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.

In the kingdom of God there will be a fullness of justice and every person shall be rebuked for his own sin only.

31:29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge. 31:30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.

Then a New Covenant be extended to all Israel; and to all nations as they are grafted into spiritual Israel. All people shall be repentant and spiritually circumcised; with the whole word of God written on their hearts through the indwelling of God’s Holy Spirit.

A major part of the New Covenant is the gift of the Holy Spirit to enable an understanding and keeping of the whole Word of God.

All nations and people will be grafted into a Spiritual Israel of a New Covenant, just as they could be grafted into Physical Israel!

Exodus 12:48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.

This promise of a New Covenant was formalized at Pentecost in 31 A.D. with the outpouring of God’s Spirit on the repentant (Acts 2); in a small fore-type of a pouring out of God’s Spirit on all flesh (Joel 2:28) on a future Pentecost to begin the Kingdom of God!

Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

The whole Word of God, IS the law of God; it is the constitution of the Kingdom of God

If we are called and accept the call into the New Covenant then we will have the law and Word of God written on our hearts through the Holy Spirit of God and we will be keeping and living by every Word of God (Mat 4:4).

31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me [be at ONE in spiritual unity with Christ through the zealous keeping of all his words], from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

The Mighty One of Jacob declares that the law of God and the whole Word of God are permanent and shall be forever. This was quoted by Jesus Christ.

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled [the word and law of God will be fulfilled (that is KEPT) forever!].

As long as Israel [including spiritual Israel] exists; the whole Word or God shall be kept in enthusiastic zeal! And all those who depart from any part of the Word of God shall be corrected, and if they will not repent, they shall be destroyed forever.

Jeremiah 31:35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: 31:36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

31:37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured [by physical man], and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

The capital city Jerusalem, shall be built; and after the cleansing of the earth by fire the New Jerusalem shall exist forever.

31:38 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner. 31:39 And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath. 31:40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.

Jeremiah 32

Jeremiah is imprisoned for discouraging the people and prophesying defeat in the siege

Jeremiah 32:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar.

Jeremiah spoke the Word of God that the people would not be able to save themselves from Nebuchadnezzar.

The issue here is obedience to God. God said do not fight; so the people fought!

32:2 For then the king of Babylon’s army besieged Jerusalem: and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the prison, which was in the king of Judah’s house. 32:3 For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Wherefore dost thou prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it; 32:4 And Zedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but shall surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall behold his eyes; 32:5 And he shall lead Zedekiah to Babylon, and there shall he be until I visit him, saith the LORD: though ye fight with the Chaldeans, ye shall not prosper.

Jeremiah knew that he was to buy the land of Hanameel because God had told him that Hanameel would come with the offer.

32:6 And Jeremiah said, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 32:7 Behold, Hanameel the son of Shallum thine uncle shall come unto thee saying, Buy thee my field that is in Anathoth: for the right of redemption is thine to buy it. 32:8 So Hanameel mine uncle’s son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of the LORD, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray thee, that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin: for the right of inheritance is thine, and the redemption is thine; buy it for thyself. Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD.

The purchase was properly and legally registered.

32:9 And I bought the field of Hanameel my uncle’s son, that was in Anathoth, and weighed him the money, even seventeen shekels of silver. 32:10 And I subscribed the evidence, and sealed it, and took witnesses, and weighed him the money in the balances. 32:11 So I took the evidence of the purchase, both that which was sealed according to the law and custom, and that which was open: 32:12 And I gave the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, in the sight of Hanameel mine uncle’s son, and in the presence of the witnesses that subscribed the book of the purchase, before all the Jews that sat in the court of the prison.

Jeremiah charges the authorities to keep the evidence of ownership in a very secure place.

32:13 And I charged Baruch before them, saying, 32:14 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days.

The evidence of the purchase was to be secured for the descendants of Jeremiah, at the return of the repentant of Judah in 70 years.

32:15 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.

Jeremiah prays and asks why he was told to buy the parcel of land.

32:16 Now when I had delivered the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed unto the LORD, saying, 32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: 32:18 Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name, 32:19 Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:

32:20Which hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel, and among other men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day; 32:21 And hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror; 32:22 And hast given them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;

This also applies to us today; for we were delivered from slavery to sin by the mighty hand of God and espoused to Jesus Christ our Deliverer at our baptismal commitment; yet we do not obey our Lord, but instead follow men, loving and exalting them above out espoused Husband. Therefore we will be corrected as ancient Judah and Israel were corrected, unless we repent and turn to zeal to live by every Word of God to learn it and to keep it.

32:23 And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do: therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them: 32:24 Behold the mounts, they are come unto the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence: and what thou hast spoken is come to pass; and, behold, thou seest it.

Jeremiah asks why he was to buy a field when the nation was going into captivity.

32:25 And thou hast said unto me, O Lord GOD, Buy thee the field for money, and take witnesses; for the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.

Jesus Christ [YHVH, Yeshua] then testifies against the wickedness of the nation.

God is NOT a respecter of persons; he will punish us as he punished them; if we commit the same sins; which we ARE committing.

32:26 Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying, 32:27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? 32:28 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it: 32:29 And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city, shall come and set fire on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal, and poured out drink offerings unto other gods, to provoke me to anger. 32:30 For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have only done evil before me from their youth: for the children of Israel have only provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, saith the LORD.

32:31 For this city hath been to me as a provocation of mine anger and of my fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove it from before my face, 32:32 Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 32:33 And they have turned unto me the back, and not the face: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not hearkened to receive instruction.

Today’s Ekklesia factions have filled the spiritual temple of the Ekklesia with the abominations of idolatry [man worship] and the false traditions of men; polluting Sabbath and Holy Days, and many other sins.

32:34 But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by my name, to defile it.

The church of God groups have exalted their Baal’s [idols] of exalting men, corporate idols and the false traditions of their own ways above the Word of God, and so have the Mark of the Beast; which is rebellion against the Word of God.

Because the leaders have taught the people to equate loyalty to them with loyalty to God; making idols out of themselves instead of being HELPS to bring the brethren closer to God and the whole Word of God, they shall be corrected in great tribulation.

32:35 And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

What happened to those sinful men in Jeremiah’s days will also happen to us today [spiritual Judah] because we are guilty of the same sins.

32:36 And now therefore thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city, whereof ye say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence;

And when physical and spiritual Judah and Israel repent and turn to the righteousness of the Word of God and all the teachings and commandments of Christ; the repentant of spiritual Israel shall be delivered to eternal life and the repentant of physical Israel shall be delivered from their enemies and enter into the New Covenant of Jeremiah 31.

32:37 Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely: 32:38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

Then the people shall have true spiritual UNITY with God the Father and with Jesus Christ, and shall be zealous for the whole Word of God; NOT tolerating the heresy of divisive from God false doctrine among them.

Jesus Christ will establish an everlasting marriage covenant in its fullness with all Spiritual Israel, and Physical Israel will be called in espousal into that same eternal covenant of marriage to Christ, and all nations shall ultimately be grafted into spiritual Israel the spiritual bride.

The Chosen shall be married to the Lamb at the resurrection of the first fruits; and after that, all people shall also be added to the bride at their appointed time. First by their calling and then by their living a lifetime to prove themselves, and then by also being changed to spirit to join the Chosen first fruits.

32:39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: 32:40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

When we have been humbled to contrite repentance and our great pride has been crushed; then we shall sincerely repent in sorrow and our God shall delight to forgive us in his tender mercies and to do good to all those who take delight in God to live by every Word of God.

32:41 Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

God shall humble us and correct our sins to bring us to sincere repentance and a true zeal for him and every Word of God; then he shall be quick to forgive and take great delight in bringing his creation into the promised land of the flesh, and ultimate into the Promised Land of Eternity.

32:42 For thus saith the LORD; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.

And in Judea and Israel after the tribulation, men shall again have their fields and lands for an inheritance, and will be zealous to obey and live by every Word of the Mighty One of Jacob.

32:43 And fields shall be bought in this land, whereof ye say, It is desolate without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans. 32:44 Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the valley, and in the cities of the south: for I will cause their [them to return from their] captivity to return, saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 33

Deliverance from the Babylonian captivity was a fore-type of deliverance from the 42 months of the great tribulation of Jacob’s Trouble in this latter day.

Jeremiah 33:1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying, 33:2 Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name; 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

The correction by Babylon in Jeremiah’s day, will be repeated by the king [beast of Revelation] of Babylon [the feet of Dan 2 the New Europe] in these last days.

It was God who brought up the Babylonians against Judah and Jerusalem in that time, and it is GOD who will give us over to humbling by the final Babylon the Great in our day for our wickedness.

33:4 For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword; 33:5 They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.

As Christ delivered the repentant Judah from Babylon; he shall deliver repentant physical and spiritual Judah and Israel from Babylon at the beginning of the Kingdom of God over all the earth.

Notice that in the days of Ezra and Nehemiah ONLY a part of Judah returned, and NOT Israel; Verse 7 talks about BOTH Judah and Israel returning, proving that the prophecy is dual and for the latter days.

33:6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. 33:7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.

All sin shall be sincerely repented of and forgiven and Judah with Israel shall enter into the New Covenant of Jeremiah  31. Did that happen long ago?

33:8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.

All the nations shall praise God the Father and Jesus Christ for their good works and great glory.

33:9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.

Messiah shall deliver Judah and Israel into deep repentance, out of which shall flow a zeal to live by every Word of the Lord of Hosts and the righteousness of the law of God, and God’s Word shall fill the earth.

33:10 Thus saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,

The people will repent and turn to a passionate zeal for the Eternal and his ways and shall rejoice at his deliverance filling the land with his praise!

33:11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.

After the captivity of the tribulation the land will be fruitful in all its produce and the flocks and herds shall cover the pastures. This is also about the flocks of men that shall be led by the good shepherds of the resurrected chosen, and all men shall feed on the every Word of God to become spiritually well nourished in true godliness.

33:12 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down. 33:13 In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth [counts, numbers] them, saith the LORD.

At the end of the tribulation the Branch [Messiah, Yeshua, Jesus Christ] will come to rule all nations and David shall be raised up to rule over a united Israel/Judah!

33:14 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.

Again this is dual and the return of a few of Judah after 70 years in ancient Babylon is only a tiny fore-type of what is coming after the final captivity to Babylon the Great of the New Europe; for the Branch of Righteousness and David are not yet come to rule the people.

33:15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness [Yeshua Messiah / Jesus Christ] to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.

Jerusalem as the capital of the earth and the seat of the Mighty One of Jacob; shall be called the city of “The LORD our righteousness”. No more shall people follow their own ways and their idols of men; they shall delight in every Word of God to learn it and to keep it!

33:16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.

God’s promise to David and to Aaron and Levi

In the kingdom the millennial temple will be built and the priests of Aaron and the Levitical workers of Levi shall serve God in the physical things of millennial temple, while the spiritual priests and kings of the spiritual Melchizedek priesthood shall teach the nations spiritual things.

33:17 For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel; 33:18 Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.

Jesus Christ affirms that his covenant with Aaron, Levi and David is sure; and in saying that David will have a perpetual kingdom, he is talking about himself being born into the tribe of Judah of the family of David as Messiah the Christ, the King of kings; and about the resurrection of David himself.

33:19 And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying, 33:20 Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season; 33:21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.

The repentant and faithful of David and Levi shall be countless for numbers.

33:22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.

The nations of the earth despised Judah and Israel when the king of Babylon brought them into captivity, and so shall today’s nations despise Judah and Israel when they fall and are defeated by the king of Babylon [the beast emperor of the New Europe, Babylon the Great] during the 42 months of Jacob’s Trouble.

33:23 Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying, 33:24 Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families [Israel and Judah] which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.

Christ affirms HIS PROMISE that the nations of Israel / Judah shall be delivered and will return from their correction when Messiah comes, and that the house of David shall yet rule all Israel.

33:25 Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth; 33:26 Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.

Jeremiah 34

The New Europe shall come leading many allies and being supported by the rest of the world. Only the king of the South [Egypt, Judah and Israel (The US and the British being Israel mainly)] shall initially resist the king of the North, the New Europe; until in the third year Europe will have a falling out with and go to attack Asia.

Jeremiah 34:1 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities thereof, saying,

As this happened for the many abominations of the people in the days of Jeremiah; so it shall happen for our great wickedness in our days. As it happened to the nations for their wickedness, so the 42 months of great tribulation will also come upon the spiritual Israel of the Church of God factions for their idolatries and our many sins.

Wiki:  The Babylonian Chronicles give 2 Adar (16 March), 597 BC, as the date that Nebuchadnezzar [first] captured Jerusalem, thus putting an end to the reign of Jehoaichin. Zedekiah’s installation as king by Nebuchadnezzar can therefore be firmly dated to the early spring of 597 BC when he was installed as king to succeed his nephew, Jeconiah [Jehoaichin], who was overthrown as king after a reign of only three months and ten days.

Zedekiah was made king of Judah by Nebuchadnezzar II in 597 BC at the age of twenty-one. The kingdom was at that time tributary to Nebuchadnezzar II. Despite the strong remonstrances of Jeremiah, Baruch ben Neriah and his other family and advisors, as well as the example of Jehoiakim [Jeconiah aka Coniah, who was willing to pay tribute], he revolted against Babylon, and entered into an alliance with Pharaoh Hophra of Egypt. Nebuchadnezzar responded by invading Judah. (2 Kings 25:1).

34:2 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire: 34:3 And thou shalt not escape out of his hand, but shalt surely be taken, and delivered into his hand; and thine eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon.

The end of Zedekiah is prophesied

34:4 Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of thee, Thou shalt not die by the sword: 34:5 But thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings [the same mourning] of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall they burn odours [incense] for thee; and they will lament thee, saying, Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD.

Jeremiah prophesied to Zedekiah when he was under siege.

34:6 Then Jeremiah the prophet spake all these words unto Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem, 34:7 When the king of Babylon’s army fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against  Lachish, and against Azekah: for these defenced cities remained of the cities of Judah.

After the first fall of Jerusalem, Zedekiah was made king of Judah by Nebuchadnezzar II in 597. Zedekiah then sought to repent a little and ordered the release of all the servants in his remaining cities, in the hope that God would save him from Babylon.

Yet after releasing their servants, the people made them return to service, making their release and the covenant that they had made with God to return to his law a mockery.

34:8 This is the word that came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, after that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which were at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them; 34:9 That every man should let his manservant, and every man his maidservant, being an Hebrew or an Hebrewess, go free; that none should serve himself of them, to wit, of a Jew his brother.

They made their covenant of no effect by first releasing the servants and then requiring them to return again to their captivity. Therefore, as Judah would not release their captives, God would not deliver them from the captivity of Babylon.

34:10 Now when all the princes, and all the people, which had entered into the covenant, heard that every one should let his manservant, and every one his maidservant, go free, that none should serve themselves of them any more, then they obeyed, and let them go. 34:11 But afterward they turned, and caused the servants and the handmaids, whom they had let go free, to return, and brought them into subjection for servants and for handmaids.

Within today’s nations and Spiritual Ekklesia; do we keep the law and live by every Word of God?

It is time we keep our New Covenant with Christ (Jer 31); It is time that we started to keep the whole Word of God!

34:12 Therefore the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, 34:13 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant

with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying, 34:14 At the end of seven years let ye go every man his brother an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee; and when he hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear.

Instead of obeying with zeal; they made a mockery of the Covenant and the Word of God!

34:15 And ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name: 34:16 But ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom he had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.

Because they made a mockery of the Covenant, God proclaimed his judgment

Because the called out Spiritual Ekklesia  of today makes a mockery of the New Covenant, turning to a love and zeal for men and their traditions; and away from living by every Word of God; which is to be written on our hearts and to become our very New Covenant nature; we shall also see the same kind of correction.

34:17 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

34:18 And I will give the men that have transgressed my covenant, which have not performed the words of the covenant which they had made before me, when they cut the calf in twain, and passed between the parts thereof, 34:19 The princes of Judah, and the princes of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, and the priests, and all the people of the land, which passed between the parts of the calf; 34:20 I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies shall be for meat unto the fowls of the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth.

34:21 And Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes will I give into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life, and into the hand of the king of Babylon’s army, which are gone up from you. 34:22 Behold, I will command, saith the LORD, and cause them to return to this city; and they shall fight against it, and take it, and burn it with fire: and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an inhabitant.

According to the Word of the Lord, following the siege of 597 BC, Nebuchadnezzar installed Zedekiah as tributary king of Judah at the age of twenty-one.  However, Zedekiah revolted against Babylon, and entered into an alliance with Pharaoh Hophra, king of Egypt.

Nebuchadnezzar responded by invading Judah and began a siege of Jerusalem in 589 BC. During this siege, which lasted about thirty months, “every worst woe befell the city, which drank the cup of God’s fury to the dregs”. (2 Kings 25:3; Lamentations 4:4, 5, 9)

In Tammuz [the fourth month] 587 B.C.   , the eleventh year of Zedekiah’s reign, Nebuchadnezzar broke through Jerusalem’s walls, conquering the city. Zedekiah and his followers attempted to escape, but were captured on the plains of Jericho and taken to Riblah. There, after seeing his sons killed, Zedekiah was blinded, bound, and taken captive to Babylon, where he remained a prisoner until his death. (2 Kings 25:1-7; 2 Chronicles 36:12; Jeremiah 32:4,-5; 34:2-3; 39:1-7; 52:4-11; Ezekiel 2:12),

After the fall of Jerusalem, the Babylonian general Nebuzaraddan was sent to complete its destruction. Jerusalem was plundered and Solomon’s Temple was destroyed [on the ninth of Av] . Most of the elite were taken into captivity in Babylon. The city was razed to the ground. Only a small number of people were permitted to remain to tend to the land.

Jeremiah 35

Jeremiah was to present an example of the obedience of the family of Rechab for the people

Jeremiah 35:1 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying, 35:2 Go unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.

God told Jeremiah to TEST the descendants of Rechab before the people as to their obedience to their father, and so he commanded them to drink wine.

35:3 Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habaziniah, and his brethren, and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites; 35:4 And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door: 35:5 And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites pots full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink ye wine.

They then refused to drink wine in memory of the command of their forefather Jonadab.

35:6 But they said, We will drink no wine: for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, Ye shall drink no wine, neither ye, nor your sons for ever: 35:7 Neither shall ye build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have any: but all your days ye shall dwell in tents; that ye may live many days in the land where ye be strangers.

The descendants of Jonadab refused to drink wine and gave their reason of obedience to their forefather.

35:8 Thus have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he hath charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters; 35:9 Nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor seed: 35:10 But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.

These people were tent dwellers until they entered the city for fear of the army of the Babylonians.

35:11 But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians: so we dwell at Jerusalem.

Listen to the witness of these men who obeyed their forefather fully as he had charged them; and yet we will not obey our heavenly Father nor have any zeal to fully learn and keep HIS Word!

35:12 Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying, 35:13 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will ye not receive instruction to hearken to my words? saith the LORD.

Why will we say of a commandment: “the church or some man said it was alright to do this” when the Word of God commands otherwise. In doing so we exalt that person above our love for our God and his Word.

To love and obey men contrary to the whole Word of God is IDOLATRY; it is REBELLION against the Word of God; it is the Mark of the Beast [Satan the arch rebel]!

35:14 The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father’s commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye hearkened not unto me.

Brethren, we HAVE the writings of the prophets and apostles, the whole Word of God; and we would rather obey a man than to diligently study to make ourselves approved of God.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study [the word of God to learn and do it] to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Those who repent and turn to God the Father and all his Word, in Christ-like zeal and deep passionate love for God the Father and the Husband of our baptismal espousal; shall enter the spiritual Promised Land of Eternity. Those who will not repent will receive strong correction.

Jeremiah 35:15 I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.

Because these men obeyed their father; and the Called Out of Egypt will not obey their God [our spiritual Father]; strong correction will come upon the physically and the spiritually called out of bondage to Egypt and sin.

35:16 Because the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them; but this people hath not hearkened unto me: 35:17 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.

God rewards the Rechabites because they have proved themselves obedient and loyal.

35:18 And Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Because ye have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all that he hath commanded you: 35:19 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever.

Jeremiah 36

Jeremiah is told to write out all his prophecies; which he did in the book which bears his name

This is for us today as he is to write to both Judah and Israel which was already in captivity for almost 150 years at that time.

This is duel and is for ancient Judah and those nations in the past and also for our nations today! and if it is for the spiritually ignorant nations: How much more is this warning for those who are supposed to have God’s Spirit; who are supposed to know better?

Jeremiah 36:1 And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim [Jeconiah / Coniah] the son of Josiah king of Judah, that this word came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, 36:2 Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day.

The book of Jeremiah was written and preserved for us, in the hope that we might repent and return to zeal for learning and living by every Word of God instead of exalting our idols of men.

Brethren, the whole body of scripture was written first and foremost for the spiritually Called Out of God, who are supposed to have an understanding of the Word of God from God’s Spirit, and only secondarily is it as a witness for those who have no understanding.

ALL scripture applies to us; either directly or figuratively.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Jeremiah 36:3 It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.

36:4 Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book.

A day of fasting is called and Baruch reads the book in the temple in the hope that in the sanctity of that place and fast the people would take the words to heart and repent.

Even so God has not left his called out without a warning in these last days. They have been continually warned for the past ten years.

36:5 And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I am shut up [locked up under guard]; I cannot go into the house of the LORD: 36:6 Therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words of the LORD in the ears of the people in the LORD’s house upon the fasting day: and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities.

36:7 It may be they will present their supplication before the LORD, and will return every one from his evil way: for great is the anger and the fury that the LORD hath pronounced against this people.

36:8 And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, reading in the book the words of the LORD in the LORD’s house.

A fast is proclaimed and the Word of God to Jeremiah is read to the nation of Judah.

36:9 And it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, in the ninth month [answering to November], that they proclaimed a fast before the LORD to all the people in Jerusalem, and to all the people that came from the cities of Judah unto Jerusalem.

The prophecy and admonition to repentance was read to all the people at the gate of the temple.

36:10 Then read Baruch in the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the LORD, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the higher court, at the entry of the new gate of the LORD’s house, in the ears of all the people.

Michaiah then went to the king’s house and told the princes what Baruch had read to the people.

36:11When Michaiah the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, had heard out of the book all the words of the LORD, 36:12 Then he went down into the king’s house, into the scribe’s chamber: and, lo, all the princes sat there, even Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan the son of Achbor, and Gemariah the son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the princes. 36:13 Then Michaiah declared unto them all the words that he had heard, when Baruch read the book in the ears of the people.

The princes sent for Baruch to bring the scroll of Jeremiah to them.

36:14 Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine hand the roll wherein thou hast read in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them.

The princes demanded to hear for themselves all the words of Jeremiah.

Do you begin to see how God does a great work?

It is not by the greatness of men nor by the might, power and strength of men, that a work of God is done!  God does his work through the weak so that it is self evident that it is God who does the work and not men.

Jeremiah was in prison and yet the word came out from the prison and the princes demanded to hear it; Paul taught from prison both in Judea and in Rome.

Why? So that no man could exalt himself!

1 Corinthians 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence

Jeremiah 36:15 And they said unto him, Sit down now, and read it in our ears. So Baruch read it in their ears.

Then the princes told the king of the Word of God by Jeremiah against the nation for their sins.

36:16 Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were afraid both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words.

The princes asked for the history of the writing and where Baruch had heard the words that he wrote.

36:17 And they asked Baruch, saying, Tell us now, How didst thou write all these words at his mouth? 36:18 Then Baruch answered them, He pronounced all these words unto me with his mouth, and I wrote them with ink in the book.

The princes told Baruch and Jeremiah to hide and also hid the writing for fear of the king; then they went to tell the king of the matter.

36:19 Then said the princes unto Baruch, Go, hide thee, thou and Jeremiah; and let no man know where ye be. 36:20 And they went in to the king into the court, but they laid up the roll in the chamber of Elishama the scribe, and told all the words in the ears of the king.

The king sent for the book and had it read aloud to him.

36:21 So the king sent Jehudi to fetch the roll: and he took it out of Elishama the scribe’s chamber. And Jehudi read it in the ears of the king, and in the ears of all the princes which stood beside the king.

The king listened to only a few pages and then shredded the book and cast it into the fire. The king rejected the call to repentance and the warning of heavy correction for a refusal to turn in enthusiastic zeal to learn and live by every Word of God.

36:22 Now the king sat in the winterhouse in the ninth month: and there was a fire on the hearth burning before him. 36:23 And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth.

The king would not fear or even hear the warnings from God through Jeremiah and Baruch, and neither would the people close to the king repent. They rather feared the king more than the Word of God.

Even so, today most leaders, elders and brethren of the Ekklesia fear men more than they fear God; obeying men and not seeking to diligently learn and to keep God’s Word in passionate zeal.

36:24 Yet they were not afraid, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words.

Only three men protested the king’s destruction of the book.

36:25 Nevertheless Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah had made intercession to the king that he would not burn the roll: but he would not hear them.

The king then sought to seize Jeremiah and Baruch but they had hidden [v 19], and God kept their place secret, saving them from the wrath of the king.

36:26 But the king commanded Jerahmeel the son of Hammelech, and Seraiah the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel, to take Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet: but the LORD hid them.

God commanded Jeremiah and Baruch to write down all his words a second time.

36:27 Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, after that the king had burned the roll, and the words which Baruch wrote at the mouth of Jeremiah, saying, 36:28 Take thee again another roll, and write in it all the former words that were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah hath burned.

Jeremiah is then sent to prophesy of the end of the king, because he had rejected the Word of God by the prophet.

36:29 And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast? 36:30 Therefore thus saith the LORD of Jehoiakim king of Judah; He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David: and his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost. 36:31 And I will punish him and his seed and his servants for their iniquity; and I will bring upon them, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and upon the men of Judah, all the evil that I have pronounced against them; but they hearkened not.

Baruch then wrote all the words of the first book and much more was added to it.

36:32 Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words.

The same correction that fell on ancient Judah will come upon all those who reject God’s warnings today!
